  1. I buy films from Films Festival. Based in Bangkok, he sells on eBay, and will quote you a price delivered in Thailand if you contact him.

For processing I use Patani, also in Bangkok (find them in Facebook). I send in the film, pay when he has finished processing, and he sends to me by SMS. Good quality, clean negatives. He also does scanning. Another option is IQ Lab. Have also used Airlab but they messed up a couple of films so they are off my list!

    Laiscila,

How long do you do your intermittent fasting for each day?

16 hours is reckoned to be the minimum to be useful; we normally do 18 hours or more. After a while it becomes natural and feels good; aware that your body could take some food, but not actually being hungry.

But how much do they cost there? A lot more than mine do, I suspect.

I think the purpose of the replies to this thread was to point out that aspirin are widely available in Thailand. The fact that they may be cheaper in another country is not relevant to someone who is importing them.

    It's a lottery.
I've ordered a handbag worth 10000 ฿ from UK via DHL and was charged with 40% of it's price + 600 ฿ for some other bs.
However I live here 8 years and been ordering stuff like video gear from China and HK all the time and was never charged.

A handbag is treated as a "luxury: item and attracts a very high rate of tax. It's the law. They are less bothered about lower value electronic stuff.

    Will go do that now

So I precisely need to leave it overnight and the next day I just put it in the fridge and can rinse and repeat nightly?

If it is simple as that, wow... going to be in yogurt heaven.

Your advice is always good. I read up on what you wrote on Lithium a few years ago. I buy it now across the road from Suan Dok and it saves me a packet. I still have to get tested every few months, but I was being so overcharged; it was crazy.

Only if I could find cheap Seroquel XR or Risperdal.

    Many thanks....

I would expand the instructions slightly.

Get a thermometer and heat the milk to 85 degrees, this removes some bacteria that can hinder the process. Let it simmer for around 5 minutes. Allow the milk to cool to about 45 degrees, transfer to a container and then add the yoghurt, no more than about 2 tablespoons are needed.

The yoghurt needs to "cook" at 42 degrees, so put it in the warmest place in your house and cover with a couple of towels to keep it toasty.  I used a big bottle of full fat milk which produced enough yoghurt to last a week, with Yolida as the starter. Tastes great!

  7. I used a VPN for a while, but it was a hassle to initiate it every time, and the connection was slower and therefore less high quality video. Gave up and just used the Thai service which is becoming increasingly useful as all the new Netflix programs are released worldwide on the same day (no licencing issues).

I eat a low carb (keto) diet for the anti-inflammatory properties that it provides me.  The weight loss really wasn’t much of an issue as I was never more than a few kg over my optimal weight.  It has really helped my sinus congestion issues and fingernail psoriasis.  I especially notice the difference when I fall off the wagon for any length of time (a month or so) and the problems return.

here is a study showing the anti-inflammatory benefits of a low carb diet on type 2 diabetes patients.  I don’t have diabetes but have reaped the benefits nonetheless.

    https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2014/05/140508095415.htm

Indeed, the keto groups are full of people who have returned their indicators back to normal levels and been able to stop taking diabetes medication.

  9. I think the answer will vary depending on what you want to achieve. I have moved onto a ketogenic diet to hopefully minimise an increase in arterial plaque blocking an artery which was discovered a few months ago. I am not doing it to lose weight, I am already thin.

The answer may be different if the goal is weight reduction.

That now doesn't work for me ... Are you sure that it still works for you. I use IVACY and set it to the UK and reset my computer back to UK time ...

I do have Mobdro but it now only works on my phone ... doesn't work with Bluestacks anymore

Worked for the last GP. I use the Browsec premium VPN on Chrome.

    Hello,

I understand you ! Pattaya or even Jomtien are awful now, just good for tourists.

Can you show me on a map where is the new road that you are talking about ?

And where should I look around Huay yai to find a house to rent (or land to build a house).

    Thank you.

The atached, very roughly, shows where the new road crosses Huay Yai. There is a further crossing to the south. The crossing for soi 43 is already complete and in use, have not been down to see the actual Huay Yai crossing for a while.
I suggest driving trawling the real estate sites to find potential properties and then driving around the area checking these out and also finding other places not on the listings. You can have a look at the road crossings at the same time!
