  1. Best invention since the wheel. Eliminates the dreaded skid mark syndrome and definitely more hygienic than dragging paper across your bum hole. Before I moved to Thailand I took a couple back to England and installed them in my toilets at home as although you can buy them there they are considerably more expensive. Bit of a shock to the system when you use them on a freezing cold winter morning but certainly a good wake up call!😂
  2. Presumably immigration have checked his visa status but no mention of that in the article. if he is on retirement extension of stay it infers that he has the required funds to stay here and accordingly can afford to pay for medical treatment
  3. He’s lying. It’s my money and was put in the plastic box pending a Lazada delivery 😂
  4. About 6 years ago the owner of a bar in Ban Chang near Pattaya a town which is probably known by a few AT members was apparently pimping out her 14 year old daughter until the police got involved. A large tea money contribution was paid I understand and a promise not to do it anymore
  5. Doesn’t show much intelligence for playing for the scum gooners for a start. Then arrives at Stanstead airport with 4 suitcases full of puff. Give him 20 years for the gooner offence and £100 fine for the drug smuggling 😂
  6. Should have given him a bigger beating. Not wearing a shirt in a place like that shows complete disrespect and he should be flogged and have his fingernails pulled out for that alone and then be deported. Am I going too far ? 😂
  7. Do you consider yourself some kind of Messiah sent to save the virtue of Thai girls who are clearly happy to have sponsors sending them money from different countries? The practice has been going on for many years here and I’m sure your concern, however noble is unnecessary
  8. How on earth did this guy think he would get away with carrying those drugs into Australia in his suitcase? I have never been there but if what I have seen on the Discovery channel is correct, a stray fart will get them to check your baggage 🤪
  9. He Looks a bit like Mr Creosote from Monty Python 😂
  10. Well I imagine that there will be many butch inmates of whatever jail she ends up in who may disagree with you!
  11. How about we set up a Go Fund Me account for her? 😂
  12. You are absolutely right. Thais seem to like to wear t shirts with English words on them without knowing what they mean. I saw a girl in a Khon Kaen market recently wearing a t shirt that said “Jesus loves you but I think you are a C@@t”!
  13. IMG_5252.mov A nice drive in the Issan countryside today!😂
  14. If you are still receiving salary from your employer, albeit half as you are on standby, my opinion is that you are still employed and accordingly still need the work permit. Your employer should be able to assist you on this by contacting the relevant Thai employment office
  15. Yes you clearly are. Allegedly he forged her signature on documents to obtain a duplicate title deed when the original deed had not been lost. He then allegedly forged her signature in order to sell the company in who’s name the title was registered.
  16. Why is he still hog tied in the photo?
  17. Sorry to contradict but the first McDonald’s to open in the Uk was in Woolwich South East London on 13th November 1974 unless of course that is the one you are referring to
  18. As stated above the photo reveals that they were not doing sit-ups but squats and not very well by the looks of it. Too much gai tord in the BIB’s diet methinks! 😂😂
  19. Sympathy not your thing I assume!
  20. Thankfully we are a bit too rural for that to happen!😂
  21. I I recently cleared an overgrown area in front of our house in Khon Kaen and laid grey gravel on it which was delivered by a small pickup truck from a local sand and aggregate company but first laid a black pvc liner on the soil as if I hadn’t grass and weeds would eventually grow through the gravel. Was very happy with the result but not sure if the gravel I used would be suitable for you. The whole job cost about 4,000 baht plus a couple of days graft by myself!
  22. I have just returned to the tranquility of Khon Kaen after a 3 night visit to Pattaya to see the fireworks festival which was spectacular beyond belief. The city was mobbed and I’m sure that fortunes were made by everyone from the beach chair operatives up to the hotels who seem to treble their nightly rates. Can’t believe the transformation of Pattaya since my first visit in 2001 however nothing has changed with the infrastructure with constant gridlock on most roads although to be fair there was an exceptional amount of additional traffic due to the fireworks festival. It must be an age thing because I happily lived in Jomtien for 7 years from 2005 but after just a couple of hours in Soi Diana last Thursday I concluded that I no longer want to be in the company of masses of pissed up farangs anymore. 😂
  23. After spending over 30 years in the legal profession in England, I was employed in 2005 by a law firm on Kho Samui. My Job entailed explaining to English speaking clients the procedure of purchasing land in Thailand by way of setting up a Thai majority shareholder company which was the accepted practice at the time. The nominee shareholders were all employees of the law firm and the foreigner held 49% shares in the company and the Thais 51% The foreigner controlled the company by virtue of the fact that their shares were preferential shares with a voting power of 10 votes per share and and the Thai held shares were ordinary shares with a voting power of one per share. This was the accepted practice for numerous years and all foreigners, including myself as an employee of the law firm, had no reason to believe that it was illegal. The momentous event that caused this practice to become scrutinised by the Thai authorities was Thakin’s involvement in a huge telecommunications company in which nominee shareholders had been used and millions of baht of tax had been avoided. As we know that eventually led to Thaksin’s exile but it over night stopped the accepted practice of foreigners using the law firm’s employees as shareholders and the clients I was dealing with were told that they had to provide their own shareholders which needless to say led to immense problems. The point I am making here is that the French lady who is the subject of this article was probably unaware that her companies had been set up illegally and it is the unsuspecting maid that will be the loser. I am interested to know the name of the law firm involved here as it would not surprise me if it is the one I was employed by.
  24. And they say romance is dead!😂
