Since your theory seems to be that Tony can offer cheap gym membership and therefor no "decent" gym can open because no one can beat the price, then I guess there's no market for such a gym in Pattaya.

If there was a market for a "decent" gym (with higher membership prices) then surely Tony's gyms would not be an obstacle.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that if Tony puts gyms on every street corner it will be very difficult for anyone to make the huge investment necessary to open a decent gym... especially considering most of you guys think Tony's gyms are amazing and good value.

I am in the same boat but with Tanachart Bank.

Firstly took me 4 days of everyday calling to get someone to answer a simple question about early payout.

I kind of understood, that no matter if you pay out early, you still have to pay the interest, however early payout they give 50% discount on the interest.

It still though unclear how they calculate the interest and how much of monthly payment is principle and how much is interest.

In my case, i have owned the car for 1 year, the payout figure is the same amount i borrowed, so either it means for first year i was only paying the interest

or (i have no idea) and for some crazy reason even with 50% discount on interest the payout figure after 1 year of payment is the same amount as i initially

borrowed.

It is also common for people to live above their means by borrowing against assets to buy bling bling. It is unusual how many farang seem to have in-depth knowledge of the finances of the neighborhood noodlers.

It is rather common for farang to call each other farang because either they can not spell words like "foreigner" or "westerner" and even more so to almost always assume that foreigner can not be friendly with the neighbors or the developer to know who paid what and where the money come from.
