Did you ever meet your anaesthese? I had major surgery in Chiangmai, Doctors making rounds in ward prior to scheduled surgeries. I had a Doctor pop his head in the door and ask about my last name. Seemed he was a neighbor of my Fathers, dad had sold him a parcel of our farm and he built his home there. He was in Thailand on rotation and was Training on Staff at Chiangmai University and making rounds with a group of his students. Ended up being the Best! Cheapest! Stay ever. Bills were disapearing... Staff seemed to be on a 24/7 alert for me. Actually came to check on me more often then other patients. I got 2 or 3 sponge bathes daily (not that I needed them, wife made the comment not to expect this to continue when I was discharged! Seemed everyone knew this Doctor and wanted good referrals. I had my Heart stop 3 times in the major part of the surgery and it was him who brought me back... Not the Surgeon! I would gladly have paid him 4 times his salary! I ended up having Dad sell him an additional Acre of land (equal to 4 lots). He has been back 3 times since and now stays at our house when here and rides my Harley to the Medical Center (Work) Now about Anaestheises cost being out of line? My as I said went over and beyond as his staff and students😍

Why don't we fis this issue. Start throwing 50% of yours seeds every month in areas you will remember and easy for others to find. Don't count on Thai's doing thing, make it easyier for all foreigners here if we do it our selves. If youve got multiple strains make a note of where they were sown. If you choose it forest make shure they are in a sunny access to water, (soil being damp). This will be one more thing we can all save funds on, once Thai's understand... and join the gofund me group😃 it will as natural as it was during Vietnam era. If you spead enough it will be hard to kill this time. I am sure some Venders will join this cause as they will profit also. It will if self seeding cause plants to gain what governments tried to ban. (The old Thai Stick....🥰 will return! As long as no one hoards it and shares, Prices will come down and Vendors will have a free source of stock. Also taking walls will boost the medtabolisim (sorry) and people will loose weight, naturally as God first intended. Deseases will disapear, peoples health will flourish. Trust me! Ignore my spelling!! I saw this growing up. Never got sick until what I ate, drank, smoked was controled by Governments! If everyone, does this everyother month. Won't take long to Right, What was wronged!

Here is copy of my first Visa this was a 90 day valid from 25 July to 22 October. Yes, not as I quoted before 18 years this started my continuous stay 15 years ago. This gave me 90days to do a Retirement O Non Immigrant 1 year Visa in Chiangmai.

I believe there still exists (on West Coast) 3 spots to get 60 day or even O Visa before leaving U.S.A. San Francisco, Portland and Vancouver B.C. Being from Seattle I used the Portlands Consultant's Office I sent the correct form with Money Order, Passport and a prepaid Fedexe overnight return envelope Overnight to Portland and received My Passport back with visa in 3 days. Look up Phone number online and they can download correct form for initial required Visa to get him started. This worked best for me but it was 18 years ago. I do not remember let me pause and look for old Passport. Found it! I had been to Thailand with free 30 day Visa with multiple exits/entries into Myanmar. In Passport. I had returned to USA and did the Portland Visa application about 6 months later. It was a category O with multiple entries. It gave me a beginning date to be used before as long as my Passportt remained valid. The a issued date, the expire date was (used before date) 1 year later. I can show a photo of this Passport page if needed. Again my first Visa application was a Non Immigant Visa Category O. and Signed by Honorary Consulant General. I submitted everything needed including photo(s) and Fees to Portland Office. My returned Passport had Consulant General's Stamp, a Fees paid and a Multiple Journey (Entry) Stamp. Finally an issued Stamp plus a expire (used before) Stamp. Of course it also had O Visa Issue number.

I am here at Immigration in Chiangmai ( Yes I know it's late. A bunch of us are sharing some Budwiser that friend from Thai Air dropped off. They are taking names and I.P. addresses of the ones here who are saying we don't need a Retirement Savings Account. They know I have and so this includes the other 4 Expats sitting here. Might be some Soul Searching through there Data based here. I advise to not befriend anyone here if you could be on the list who says we don't need... Just saying...

Thai rule retirement account in retirees name only!

Most Retirement accounts cannot have CcC attached. ONLY YOU HAVE ACCESS. In other words to function it's Face to Face, must present your Passport. Only you have access. I have 4 accounts, regular with Debit Card, Retirement Account and Savings (Used for major purchases.) Interest from Retirement account is automatically transferred here. SSI Account for Retirement Deposits (Monthly) this also gets my Transfers from my Money Market Accounts. Again only I have access, any dealings with Bank are face/face must present Passport which is a 2nd security measure as I sign a copy and it is used to compare with Bankbook and Photo is used to verify I am the Owner of account. It sounds and looks like alot, it's really quite simple. The only accounts anyone else has access to is the Debit Card Account and the Interest Bearing Account. This has worked quite well since 2005. I am secure and my wife is HAPPY! Thas all that really matters, Right?
