Seems a good idea to me. After all, some weed wackers have steel blades and i do not like the nylon string getting all tangled up nor littering my yard with plastic. I'll get some suitable steel wire, wrap it round the head, clip to good length and have a go at the grass.
Any precautionary comments welcome. I will wear eye protection.

Been to the Mercure lately Nancy? I mean inside, maybe eating at the restaurant. If so then the vast majority of folks you see will be from mainland China.
OP, i suggest you look elsewhere for decent lodging in Santitham. Although the Mercure does have the Tops supermarket and Chinese caberet very nearby the fact remains that hotels are really for sleeping.

A bad boy to get DQ. What did he do wrong?

Sex with animals is not so very uncommon. Beastiality is only a sub-set of pornography and loads of vids and pix can be found on the www.
If we took a poll here which do you prefer; A. wanking at home all alone or B. having a go with a curly haired lamb out in the barn?

I find loads of prepared fresh ginger in the wet markets, including Kad Muang. Usually small slivers 1 inch long, often in 10 baht bags or 20 kilo sacks.

Is beef a traditional Thai meat? In China eating beef is not at all part of the food culture of the Han. And the 'beef' animals here, esp in the past, were water buffalo which may not be so tasty or easy to eat.
The beef of the west is a very modern cut of meat. So maybe authentic Thai beef dishes are a western invention.

Looking for a hair shop which will use henna and other natural colorants to color the hair. Most shops use strong chemicals which i don't want.
Maybe some ladies here know of such a shop in CM. Plz share your info.

I agree. Traffic jams not too bad, really. Esp since i mostly use Chotana Hiway to go north!

From the Santitham round-about, go north till the mini-Tesco, then turn right and go 127 meters. On the left, at the corner.

So, all pig farms should be located far from any farangs? And if any farangs desire to live somewhere near to the pig farm, then move the farm? Is that the attitude i read here?

Nana in Santitham is never crowded and has loads of croissants, and all other goodies, by 11 am. I don't eat many and only buy the day old stuff, 1/2 price. I do like the black olive bread.
And a great cup of hot Latte coffee at 30 baht? None better in CM.
I have no idea what's going on in NongHai. Sorry.

How right u r Lad. I gave it a shot but started to burn up the car metal before melting the angle iron. The differential was too great for me to handle: i'm a welding beginner. I'll try a auto body shop.
I would use clamps but there is very little space. I will look again, maybe a tiny bolt could fit.

Check google for free transport to the Prom Mall from various spots in town, at various times but never at 5am.

Whether beer or veggies; imported = very high import tax. I eat and drink nearly 100% local. However, if the price were lower, i'd drink better beer than Leo, maybe London Pride.

Take a guess on this: how many chinese workers will be imported to dig the ditches and lay the rails over the course of 5 years from beginning to end of this Thai-Chin rail line?

If smoking while playing permitted, count me OUT. I seldom frequent CM bars/pubs coz the best seats are reserved for, at least occupied by, cig smokers.

IMO, 'development = deterioration'. I like the trees, flowering vines, birds, green grass and bit of wildness and wet, but not so much concrete, brick, motors and commercial sprawl. Yeah, CM needs much better solid waste control and more responsible people. However, individual responsibility is not what this country is all about.
Within 1/2 km of KSK i suspect 12 condos can be found and i don't know Sirithana Condo. Just exactly where is the place you describe.

Not that much different than in T'land. You may have read about the 70 year sentence recently imposed on a local Thai guy for some comment on FC, or other social median page. In T'land not called blasphemy but rather lese majeste.

Agree 100% with any ban/fee on plastic shopping bags. China and Hong Kong make everyone pay for a plastic bag. Now most folks there carry own shopping bag.
Someone high in the Thai govt must have a bag factory.

Will be fixing the bike rack very soon. My 1998 Opel has, on both roof edges, usually covered with molded plastic, a water channel. I've removed the plastic, totally unneeded now. This channel has in the center a projecting upright piece about 5mm tall. The thickness of this steel is about 1 or 2 mm. I plan to weld a strip of angle iron onto the upright piece in 2 places on each side giving me 4 supporting members. Then onto these i'll be fitting, maybe bamboo, strips to support the bike.
Q for you guys is what is best thickness of angle iron? I'll be tacking along top and edges of projecting piece.

This USA notice only refers to those folks who have no permanent address in the USA. I think. I use my daughter's address, in NC, for all my banking, credit card, IRS, etc and have no need to tell anyone that i am yet alive. No one really cares but me anyway.

A used condom from under the bed? Suggest a good washout prior to next usage.
-
"and grease the prop: You do have to ask for the prop to be done as it doesn't seem to be on any of their service sheets. N/B should be greased at 10th km as well. Less if you go through lots of water."
Not sure what you greasing Fred. Can you explain more on this. And what is the N/B? Sounds like you are driving a boat with a propeller, hardly an airplane, but probably a car.

I'm a single guy on retirement in CM, have USA Medicare (age 70) for real trouble but am interested in getting some medical insurance for accidents and any minor catastrophe suffered when NOT in USA.
Naturally i turn to my contemporaries here on TV and solicit local advice and testimonials on insurance offerings from folks my age.
So plz throw out your information.

I went to Payless Shoes in Central Fest and found a pair of black trainers, size US 13W for about 1000 baht. A bit tight on the toes but will work when i must have black shoes...like when waiting for the funeral.
