I always used Dell and IBM  (Lenovo) laptops at work, in a company that just had their electrical systems revamped. I'm not exactly sure why, but I would often get small shocks and sudden subtle hot spots when touching the corners my laptops while working.

Like the previous reply, lots of food and close to transport.

There are many really great French and other restaurants as well as a small central mall.

The problem with living there is the night-life shenanigans go on late every night. And during holidays it can get very congested. Songkran and possibly others it's shut right down.

If ii wanted to live in that area, I'd probably choose Sathon.

My partner got stung in Hua Hin. She was in a lot of pain (similar to a burn), but I don't think the Man of War type are in that area.... There is a certain season that the jellyfish are very prevalent there in Hua Hin. I've found the best immediate fix for a jellyfish sting is to douse the affected area with vinegar, it helps alleviate the pain.
