8M down 0.8M up which is okey (we pay for 9M/1M).

But after our router die and 3BB gave us new "SmartAX 880 MT" routher

we now only have 3M down 512 Kb Up.

    3BB tell us "Bad luck"

    (Mayby they want a bride)

Can anybody recommend other Internet provider, since 3M/1M is to slow for out internet game shop :-(

  2. One thing I have noticed about the Thai people since I moved here permanently last Jan. 2012.

The difference in culture and language make it so so so easy to misunderstand a situation.

I experience many times things that i consider an insult. But I always discover later, that it is always a matter of

bad translation or some stupid misunderstanding.

So never get upset... You gain nothing and you can only make you situation worse.

I've been here about 10 years at first I thought much the same thing, but after you learn to speak the lingo a bit, you see that it isn't just a language problem.

But you are right of course it is best not to become insulting, so I don't

But what straight talking and just being firm?

There are merits to what you say, but it sets you on a course of passive resignation and lack of direction, that is evident everywhere in Thailand as it is.

Today I have become a wiser person.

    I Thank you smile.png

  4. Yes you are.

You will get your extension. Go and have a beer and relax.

Would, but unlucky enough to puke up after just a small amount.

Being reflective, I think it is just the attitude of the staff that is getting to me, I mentioned this at the start of the thread. Again it was one of the guys we saw, and again that sarcastic attitude. I've applied and received many types of visa in Thailand over the course of a decade and not come up against this BS before. Is this some problem peculiar to the 'Thai Wife' extension?

Feeling a bit stupid too, the lawyer said he would prefer to handle it, and said he would have gone to Samut Prakarn.

I'll let him handle any censure. But I'm not putting up with any more gobsh**e.

I have a report back date 6 July for my marriage visa extension.

The Thai officer at the Immigration in Kanchanaburi have helped me and my wife a lot concerning the paper work.

She was most helpfull and professional and her English was fluently.

The visit at our home and interview of our neighbors was smooth and easy.thumbsup.gif

Maybe the guy you saw just had a bad day...crying.gif

  5. Go to dbd.go.th and first check for business name. Just put in the first word of the company. Then scroll down until you find it. Write down the registration number.

Then go to the companies in Thailand area. You will need to register, but it is OK for foreigners. Once inside, enter the registration number and you will get balance sheet, P&L, juristic person, etc...

    Thanx

It look like the thing I need, except I don't get an Activation code for my account. huh.png But I will wait a few days and try again smile.png

    Thanx wai.gif

  6. Where can I find detail information about a company in Thailand.

I want to find company information about:

    Number of employees.

    Ownership.

    BOI Status.

    Financial Information.

    Peoples opinion/review.

    etc.

I have been looking for companies such as:

    CanadoilAsia in Rayon.

    SVI in Bangkok.

    AKCP in Bangkok.

Where I consider applying for a job.

Beside the companies web sites, where can I find detail information about a company in Thailand ?

  7. The 60 days that Muggi1968 got was 30 days to his original permit to stay date and then the normal 30 day wait while they consider the application. Immigration does not start the 30 day wait until the permit to stay date that is being extended.

Also it is not an extension that you got it is a the date to report back to immigration.

6 may: Apply for marriage visa extension

    6 June: Original visa expire

6 July: date to report back to immigration

does this mean i have to do a visa run to have a valid visa from 6 - June until 6 - july (6 sep. ... visa run = 3 new month)?

    (I have a valid multi re-entry until 2013)

    I think I need a TM47 form ermm.gif

  8. Yes there is always a 30 day or longer under review period but once paperwork is accepted it would be highly unusual for it not to be approved (unless you break up before then). If you need to travel that day be sure to go prepared with photo and fee for a re-entry permit as that will be required for return to Thailand. You could visit them on the 4th and ask - perhaps they would have and allow issue (but asking now they do not know so have to say no).

    Thank I will try that.

Friends tell me that they want to make me pay a bribery,

But they also warm me that if i pay a bribe, Immigration will expect

that in future when i need new extension or re-entry permissions...

I will follow your advice wai.gif

  9. Maybe This.

is a little off the subject but I try.....

I have applied for a marriage visa extension (1 Year) for the first time.

We applied for the extension may 6, 1 month before my visa expire. I get 1 month extension and my visa now exspire July 6.

Immigration in Kanchannaburi tell me, that I can not get any answer before 6 of July.

    Question...

Is that normal that answer is available same day the visa expire ???.

Paperwork was checked by immigration when we applied for the extension, but I have to hurry a lot biggrin.png

if i have to go to Laos same day my visa expire .......

  10. Hi

My mobile phone subscription is killing me....w00t.gif

(Bought simcard without subscription i mall )

I put in 50 Bath and get 12 days.......

After 12 days i have 48 Bath left but no days......

Then I must put in 50 Bath more. Now 98 Bath on subscription account, for next 12 days etc.

I only use my mobile phone a little and have it for sms and safty, in case I need to call for help from broken car or motorcycle in kanchanaburi.

    Question

What company and subscription in thailand (I live in Kanchanaburi) do you recommend farang that do not use mobile phone often ?

  11. I know some Hells Angels and Bandito's here in the US, and believe me, If these guys were the real deal, the BIB an't got a prayer. And by the way, the Hells Angels and the Bandito's pretty much hate each other. It's not like they are big butt buddy's because they both ride harleys and love swastika tattoo's. The FBI and most of the law enforcement in the US can't control them, I doubt very much that the BIB has a chance either. If it's just a group of Hells Angels wannabe's from Denmark, sure, easy. But you get a group of the Real bikers from the US, say 50 or so, look out Pattaya. It would take the Thai army to get them out. Not the BIB.

That's my take on these "biker gangs" people are fretting over. You put the Angels & Bandidos in the same place and there's going to be a fight, most likely with casualties. Most of the bikers I've run into in Thailand can best be described as wannabe fanboys. Ex-lawyers and accountants living out some kind of kinky fantasy about being bad asses.

After some big gang wars between HA and Bandidos in Denmark some years ago(even using M72 anti tank rockets), HA and Bandidos joined forces against a new common enemy (Muslim gangs), so I doubt they will fight each other here.

  12. Kanchanabury is back in business....

Lotus now have a lot of 1.25 L Pepsi max. (equal 2) No coke zero yet.

    GPS: N 14.00509˚

    E 99.54467˚

    (GPS co-ordinates is a joke... But correct biggrin.png )

Looks like the crises has ended.

  13. The big problem about bottled "Fresh water" is that it is not fresh.

Before I moved to Thailand I worked as an Engineer in the food industry in Europe.

Bottled water is normally on stock for about 6 Month before it is sent to the shops.

And believe me... Do not trust the labels...

I stay with my coke diet...
