  1. The problem is a newbie can not have a local bank account. And Wise card is higher percentage than many other cards when used for cash in ATM. Most newbies will use ATM card for at least a few months but try to have low fee/and return of ATM charge type if they can. As said above Wise card is high percentage fee to obtain cash at ATM. But one size does not fit all - some people will not be that concerned about the extra 3 or 4 percent costs (especially if for only a limited time),
  2. The link from Jai Dee is Thailand source sale on Lazada with product warranty if that is worth the higher cost to you.
  3. I also posted a higher priced unit at 800 baht from same seller was available and more to your cost range.
  4. And what I posted are plug in units and sold on Lazada. The 800 baht unit would appear to be in the price range you want. These are not Bluetooth. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/jbl-quantum-50-i4258011128-s16857791826.html?
  5. Not sure if wired earphone like below is what you want or not but I have used JBL for last few years and bought below last week and very happy with them at 238 baht from Lazada. But at 80 plus do not considere myself a Connoisseur by any means - but they do sound much better than others I have used. Others by JBL also available from same store at 800 baht might be more to your likking. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/i1065088123-s2382996380.html?
  6. Can only report get full speed using BMAX B3 571/577 Mpbs now on what believe is 500 internet (old 50 Mbps plan True increased speed in March - but same contract).
  7. Perhaps if you have made an advance appointment one hour might be valid - but a month ago the walk in queue was over 300 at 1030 and processed at 1630 little or no seats available inside CW immigration. This does not appear to have been done. https://www.immigration.go.th/?page_id=1666
  8. Actually fax is used many places - Blue Cross serves 115 million in the USA and for overseas claims computer efiling often does not work anymore so option is Fax or Mail. In case you have not noticed - the world seems to be going in reverse as of late.
  9. As said copy shops may offer service and there are many online websites that will convert your documents to fax and send for a fee (or maybe even free for 2 or 3 pages. I use such a service for USA and you should be able to find for Aus without trouble - below is 5 cents per page and no contract required. https://notifyre.com/au/pricing?type=fax
  10. First new car was a 64 1/2 (289 V8 version late in original model year 64) convertible. Cost was about $3,400 (and gas about 32 cents). Used in Germany from 68 to 70 and sold there. Many in Germany really liked it - while I liked the BMW. BMW family sedans always seemed to be driven full speed while I tried to keep at about 90mph on Autobahns.
  11. Nor if you pay. But from not having a no show in hundreds of orders not sure that is a concern for most locations. In the one case of shipping mis delivery Lazada recovered/delivered package within an hour of my reporting.
  12. Not an issue at all using my USAA debit card on Lazada - any canceled order payment is returned to US bank account within a day or two. Shopee does not accept foreign cards and stopped direct bank transfers so have not used since that happened several years ago.
  13. A pillow designed for chair use should help a lot - I also have to use in padded office chair - also use a back pillow.
