    only ever given a monthly allowance to student pussy, as sometimes there parents have a hard job lookin after them - as soon as they have graduated its stops, maybe give them 3k or 4k to go shopping from time to time :D Imo people should look after themselves, and not bludge off others unless they are in an exceptionally bad situation..

    Any woman that "demands" a set amount per month & does not want to work, even though they are in a position too work, is nothin more than a cheap hooker imo :o

    Widescreen is no problem with UBC I have not changed any settings and it looks just fine. The thing that will piss you off is the <deleted> bit rate UBC is broadcasted in, even with top of the range kit it will look poor quality to say the least, to get the crystal clear pictures these TVs should give you really need a HDTV stream :o

    Hey guys, do you know of any electronic online store that ships stuff to Thailand? Most of them I visited only shipped to US and Europe, seldom to Asia, and none to Thailand!

    Where To Find Chic And Cheap Furniture

    I would'nt call index cheap, been out and about lookin to buy a 3 piece leather suite today, and all there leather furniture is double the price of furniture from all the other shops in MBK..

    Dont get me started on lazyboy either, what a fookin rip off, 53k for a shitty 3 seater re-cliner that looks like the 3 seperate pieces that make it up will fall to bits after a week or so not to mention the 1 month wait for delivery..

    A girl in another shop offered 51k for 2 single seat recliners and a 3 seat sofa, which were twice as comfy and well made as teh lazyboys :o

    The story is too banal.

    All good films must have a twist – the unexpected. Who cares about a boy meets girl, they fall in love, fall out of love, fall back in love type of story. There are millions of these cliché films, in the Western and the Thai movie tradition. So what, that its Thai/farang – what’s new?

    Now, make the taxi driver to be a sophisticated older Thai, down on his luck, who meets an aging pop star and falls in love. Despite all the complications there could be in such a relationship, they get married and conquer the world. Then there is something people would queue up to see.

    Especially if the taxi driver was played by Mr. T (think of the political benefits in street cred.) and the pop star by Madonna (she may even get one more hit record out of the deal).

    the girl maybe ends up getting shot by a police officer to add a bit of realism :o

    I would'nt recommend using True internet for online gambling, it has a habit of cutting out @ the worst times, so a friend tells me.

    This may not bother u if u play limit with all-in protection or NL with all-in which I think pokerstars has, but correct me if im wrong, yer screwed in a multi if it cuts half way thru a hand :o

    Gambling on the net in thailand isnt illegal. During the euro 2004 cup a police spokesman said that it was only illegal if bets were layed by someone using the internet to people in thailand. Apparently it isnt even illegal to use a thai credit card to gamble online, provided the servers/site and banking provider they use are located outside thailand. Though you would be breaking the law if you never declared winnings that were paid to a thai account for taxation :D

    I'm looking to purchase a geniune copy of Punch Home Design Architectural Series 4000. Can anyone advise as to where I can obtain a copy?

    Please bear in mind that I live in Phuket, though I'm quite happy to pay postage.

    I know I can download from the Punch website, but my internet connection is slow.

    as we submitted the application tuesday and the embassy was shut after for some days (i think it opened today not sure) was told to expect a reply by post within 5 - 10 working days. Should a short interview surfice then she could go at her leisure. If a long interview was required 10 -12 weeks. The sign said Next avaialable interview date 7.7.5. So its just a wait........................... :o

    Yes when she gets it i will be returning ASAP of course ...ive waited long enough.

    Do Most Farangs And Thais Hang Out Together?

    I just wonder if the expats and Thais hang out together, not in a romanctic or love relationship but, like hanging out afterwork or go and have a few drink between expats and Thais co-worker.  I would really like to know seeing that I've been study aboard for almost 10 years and most of my friends are westerners.  I don't have many Thai childhood friends left in Thailand  :D

    Would depend on what your like and what the people yer workin with are like, one thing that most guys where ever there from have in common is that they dont need much of an excuse to go out on the piss, especially in a town like bangkok :o
