A while a ago I wanted a fake TAG watch and was offered one for 1200 baht at one bar (which I declined) at another bar a guy arrived with the same watch and before he could speak I told him I could get it on the market for 350 so thats how much I was prepared to pay.

He told me thats what he paid and offered it for 400

Yup, its a good laugh for a bunch of guys on a lads holiday.. Or for guys with a Thai wife / family who are cultured to pattayas goings on.. As the OP said, he doesnt have a clue, to recommed it as a holliday of a lifetime destination is just irresponsible.

When my sister was over here I went down there for the weekend with her and her boyfriend, he loved it, she hated it. While my mother was here I didnt dream about mentioning it, let alone taking her there.

I was in pattaya when the tsunami hit, and it seemed 1000's were being redirected there from phuket etc.. The amount of familys walking around @ day and night with looks of disgust on their faces (mainly womens) was comedy. Cant say they looked like they were enjoying themselves.

Of course, the old man comes over here with one thought in mind

I got food poisoning @ the charoen hotel in udon a month or so ago, they were prepared to get the police involved as I was refusing to pay for the food Funnyest thing was, with all the fuss over the food, they forgot to charge a half day which was twice the cost of tha tucker

Dont fly with airaisa, ive been on that route with them 3 times in the last 6 months and each time in both directions they were over an hour late.

On all occasions the Nok flight actually set off before the airasia one, even though they are scheduled to leave 30min to 1 hour later

Im trying to get hold of a samsung D500, was in MBK last week trying to get one and as there not released all the store holders were being a bit funny about selling me one. Though there were a few avail from what I could gather, it was all cloak and dagger stuff. U give me 20'000 baht, u go round the corner and get given the phone in a brown paper bag type operation, which I wasnt to keen on.

They wouldnt even let me see the phone unless it had already been paid for, not @ only one shop but 3 or 4.

Is there anywhere u can order phones online?

there is a command in DOS called "route"..

You have to issue a specific routing rule that directs all traffic to the desired network through a specific network interface in your case.. you need to open the command prompt and type:

ipconfig /all (and note down the interface number of the modem)

and then:

ROUTE ADD <destination> MASK <dest-IP-mask> <gateway-IP> METRIC 2 IF <interface no>
