  1. You can upload it wherever you like.......you won't get penalised for uploading, say, bank statements into the accommodation section. Do what feels right, just upload enough supporting information without burying them in paperwork. Keep it simple - supply evidence of the genuine relationship/reason to visit, financial adequacy and reasons for the applicant to return to Thailand (so that the ECO can be satisfied that 'on the balance of probability' the applicant is not a flight risk.
  2. US Presidential Election 2024, Outright Winner Donald Trump 4/5 Kamala Harris 21/20..........888Sport That surprised me given a lot of the rhetoric on this forum.

  4. Fair comment and apologies - I did have restaurant prices in mind when I quoted 2,000 Baht......but please don't try to suggest that wine in Thailand represents good value; it does not and you can pay 1,000 Baht for wine that is £5/6 in a UK supermarket. Rarely is anything under 500 Baht palatable and I have bought wines for 1,500 Baht that I wouldn't dream of taking to a dinner party.
  5. Your post is moronic..................not for the first time. A couple of bottles of Barossa Valley Nine Popes is well worth bringing in........neither tight nor a drinking problem. i also bring in mini Baby bell cheeses, Cornish Yarg and Black Bomber cheeses, Marmite and Fortnum and Mason sauces...........................I guess you would conclude that I have a food problem.
  6. Don't be insulting and make up accusations of being alcoholic (note correct spelling). Bringing in your own duty free preference does not get close alcoholism...........
  7. Stupid comment given the rates of duty that are applied to imported wines. Paying 2,000 Baht for a bottle of wine that £5/6 in your home country does not make economic sense.
  8. Losing it is not the issue.....that is the inherent risk if you exceed the allowance. The issue is the fine (and their option of imprisoning you - yes, it has happened). https://www.tilleke.com/insights/new-and-improved-penalty-scheme-under-2017-thai-customs-act/#:~:text=Section 242 prohibits importing or,whether the person is punished.
  9. I would guess that is the UK State pension which ceases on death and has no benefits for spouses/children etc.
  10. It is a Thai Immigration Bureau download.........................................perhaps they are confused? This is from the Chiang Mai visa shop. https://chiangmaivisashop.com/certificate-of-residency-2/
  11. The form is actually headed up "APPLICCATION FORM RESIDENCE CERTIFICATE IN THAILAND"
  12. A good result; better than many similar stories I have heard.
  13. The good news for your 'daughter' is that her father never married his partner. A lot depends what assets there were, and where they are located. For example if there is house in his home country it is a different kettle of fish than having a few thousand Baht in a Thai bank and a 15 year old Honda Click. Google 'Rules of intestacy' in Thailand (and anywhere else there is assets) as a start point. It is likely that any assets in Thailand will require Probate from a local court.
  14. Yep. Same situation as I have with my 5 year old MG.
  15. Good point................you are overdue for the ignore list
  16. Your post are becoming obnoxious.
  17. I have some positive reviews on these. Does anyone have an experience of this bike?
  18. There are many PERCEIVED benefits (especially by those who have them), there a few ACTUAL benefits.
  19. Anyone who starts their post with the words "Sugar alcohols aren't bad if you........." immediately losers any credibility. Anyone who feels compelled to announce to the world "this has been my life for 50 plus years..." immediately loses any credibility.
  20. Some of us haven't had to go away................
  21. That has brightened up my day..................
  22. Evidence indeed that evolution does exist.
