  1. incapacalates. Google was no help with that I am afraid.
  2. Never thought that I would say this, but Prayuth's tenure is looking better by the day.
  3. Thankfully that is unlikely to happen.
  4. Must be "Pal" in Prakhonchai
  5. I am the opposite. I rarely carry more than the equivalent of £25 in cash. Whilst cash is overrated (other than for money laundering and tax evasion) I would not wish to lose the option of being able to pay by cash - even though it is a more expensive commodity to handle. My daughter doesn't carry any cash (except when in Thailand) and she has never had a problem. On a couple of occasions I have had cash, but no card on me, and I have not been able to pay with it. One was a pub in the Cotswolds and the other was easyJet......CV19 gave these airlines the opportunity to dispense with the messy business of handling cash.
  6. "Buddy" .......do people really still say that.
  7. Yes, it is like throwing stones at someone's front door and running off!
  8. They have no authority whatsoever. VfS are simply processing agents for UKVI.... a glorified post box if you like. That said, they have become more professional and helpful over recent years.
  9. We need a sarcasm emoji........ because sometimes people can't see it.
  10. My tea cups are bone China but they don't belong to China.
  11. Half right in my case
  12. You don't renew visas. If you really have an O visa you need to apply for a new one. If, as is more likely, you have an extension of stay you will need to provide more information:- Basis of extension ie retirement/marriage. Money in the bank or income method. Immigration office used.
  13. My bad.
  14. I have never lost a Penny on credit cards (in fact the protection rules have saved me money). I have lost money with cash..... list and stolen
  15. It never happens to me......only once was a transfer delayed until the next ay; the significant majority have been within seconds. Transfer Sterling to your WISE account then remt to your Thai bank account rom there. Usually arrives in seconds to Kasikorn and Bangkok Bank.
  16. Much safer than carrying cash. Are you paranoid about cash as well ?😏
  17. Only 55%, that sounds low for hindsight review after the governments failure to "Get BREXIT Done" properly.
  18. I use ALT 0163 To get the pound sign (£) on a Thai keyboard, you can use the Alt key code or the number pad. Here's how: 1. Using Alt Key Code: Num Lock On: Ensure Num Lock is enabled. Hold Alt: Press and hold the Alt key. Type 0163: Type the numbers 0163 on the numeric keypad while holding down the Alt key. Release: Release the Alt key, and the pound sign (£) should appear. 2. Alternative Method (If you have a UK or similar keyboard): Shift + 3: On some keyboards (particularly UK or similar layouts), the pound sign may be directly accessible using the Shift + 3 combination.
