    Attend the next office party. Tape a cucumber to your thigh under your trousers and have your wife casually introduce you to the offending boss.

    Then you can laugh at home later knowing Boss man will be having cold sweat nightmares about finally bedding your wife but, in the moment of truth, she looks up into his eyes and, in a bored tone of voice, asks, "Is it in yet?"

    Saw four meteorites and 14 airplanes

    It's only a meteorite if it reaches the ground.

    Meteoroid - A small particle of metal or stone or a combination of both... from an asteroid or comet orbiting the Sun or other Solar System bodies.

    Meteor (so-called "shooting star')- A meteoroid that is observed as it burns up in the Earth's atmosphere – a shooting star.

    Meteorite - A meteoroid that survives its passage through the Earth's atmosphere and impacts the Earth's surface.

    A Bolide is an extremely bright meteor, especially one that explodes in the atmosphere. Often called a Fireball.

    When I first came to Thailand, I would have been shocked at such a news item and would be seriously questioning who is in charge to resort to propaganda tactics like this.

    But after 10 years I can completely understand it. Virtually every red-shirt who posts here comes across as schoolboy-level intellect having a tantrum because someone took his sweets away (which he stole himself earlier). I now realise there is no point reasoning with logic : they have none. They need to be told how it is by someone else who actually understands the world beyond cheating and corruption.

    Of course it is all futile : you can't change a culture of corruption by telling them that it is wrong. They simply don't care. But it is a glimmer of hope that someone is prepared to try.

    When I tried to download adblock for chrome browser on my smart phone, a screen was displayed 'do you want to use an existing google account' or add new or existing'. Something of that effect.

    Why is google asking me for my email address and password to download free software. Why do I have to log into google to do this. Are there any technical implications?

    Is your smartphone Android? Have you signed in to app/web store to initiate the download?

    If your phone is Android and you haven't logged in, you will need to sign in using google credentials as Android is Google.

    "The term "drive" originally referred to the thing moving the storage media -like a floppy drive is something you put a floppy disk into and it spins it. A tape drive is the thing that drives the tape around the read-write heads. Originally with a hard disk, the drive was separate from the disk platters -you used to load the hard disk into the disk drive. Here the Drive means a moving actuator arm with magnetic heads arranged on it to read and write data to the Hard Disk surface. Now, the drive is built-in. So a hard disk drive is referring to both the disk and the drive at the same time..."

    Received news from apple staff my Mac Pro logic board is faulty,will going to cost me 20+k baht for replacement .

    This is Fxx expensive... Does anyone know any reliable repair shop with much cheaper fees in Bangkok? Seriously, I'm not going to pay that cash to the apple store. Someone pls save my life! Many thanks!!!!

    Take it to Infinity Mac, Fortune Town.

    3rd floor, near Bangkok Bank.

    The guy there may try to repair it or you can inquire about replacement options. Or you can walk up to 4th floor. There is a mac repair shop the name of which I can't remember. iShop or something.
