Just shop between dealers. If one refuses, go to another one. I believe you should find one who will accept.
With a Work Permit and good salary and good credit history (do you have a credit card?), you should not have any trouble. In BKK, for sure, there should be no trouble.
Yes i have 2 credit cards with decent limits on them, 1 with kasikorn and the other with Aeon
Good. Be aware however that in general 25 % is the lower limit for financing without guarantor. You may find someone willing to give you 20 % down, but it will take some shopping around.

It is very hard to hurt the image of Chinese people.
They are the top level predators on the planet, eating tigers, sharks and rhinos. People are mere factors of cheap production.
Anyone who has anything to do with them will attest to this.
Stealing cutlery off a plane is absolutely expected behaviour.
I think they should just charge them SGD10 more before boarding
Your description makes them sound like locusts...
Somehow, that is how the inhabitants of Hong Kong view them...

The bike test is easy. This is Thailand after all. A basic multi choice computer test in English . Then a go around a car park sized test area. A monkey could pass.... and they do every day:D:)

The nice Man was referring to Benzene Engines not Clunkers. Please note Tugboats have tremendous Diesel Torque, but aint much use as a Ski Boat. Never seen a Tuna that does 200KPH.
This was a thread dedicated to advantages vs inconveniences of Camry vs Fortuner.
Why has it become hijacked to be a discussion of petrol vs diesel and furthermore a somewhat childish brag about dangerous behaviors on the road?
Finally, speeding on the road is a highly dangerous behavior.
This being said, I share the dislike for Fortuner tailgaters.

Maybe the potential loss due to litigation is cheaper than recalling all the cars.
Accidents happen every day in Thailand. Who ever goes and checks the car for mechanical faults? Most of the time it is blamed on the driver anyway.
In any case, a worrying recall for which we should take action... Maybe with MItsu HQ in Japan?

If he was hungry or needed shelter the temples will provide. But he's been a very silly billy for stealing and will be in a heap of trouble now.
The temples will provide? When did that last happen? Or perhaps you think that all the poor and starving on the streets prefer not to go to a temple?
Seems to me that the monks are usually in Panthip on a Sunday afternoon, usually 3 or 4 pm buying their latest gadgets.
Generally buying their gadgets with that donation money!
Hence, their promptness to call the police... isn't the idea of Buddhism to change souls by showing compassion and leniency? Actually for monks, just a business. Not astonishing they behave like any shipowner would do with a shoplifter.

They've tried telling me that through the entire finance agreement period it has to be done through them. It's an outright lie to get commission from right?
You are right on the commission part. With regards to the "entire finance period", that's a blatant lie. I switched insurance in my second year and nobody had anything to say about it.

Actually, LMG's policy excludes terrorism, riots and natural disasters. Tough luck, as Pattani is particularly exposed on the first one.
-
When buying a new car on finance is it a requirement to get the insurance via the car dealer? I got a quote directly from LMG which was cheaper and the coverage value a little higher than the policy provided by the dealer which was also through LMG, but was told by the dealer 'no no mr, you have to insure through us, it's policy with finance company'.
It often is so (was at Mitsubishi). But in general then, the first year insurance is given for free and you should ask that or walk away.

Just buy a diesel engine and you will get gas at 30 THB/L without all the trouble of engine conversion.

Sure, sounds like an extremely safe car... But is it on sale in Thailand at at what price?

Though to be fair diesel here is running at £1.41 a litre right now...then there's insurance, VED, accountant costs for the non cash sales , taxes (SE rate plus any NICs), oh and of course the cost of living!
No, I'm not a Black Cab driver, nor are any relations,
Sorry, but most taxis run on lpg or cng.

I noticed that as well... A few weeks ago I had published a pick about the chain of cold by a famous fast-food chain that left its congealed wares to unfreeze on the street... and I see that at Big C, stinky meat is put back to the freezer come the evening.

Chaz Insurance brokers hooked me up with LMG. A quite extensive coverage (higher than most other insurances) but there is a catch: natural disasters, terrorism and riots are NOT covered.
I asked a booklet of the insurance, negotiated etc... And got what I wanted.
The insured value was also of 940 K vs 910 by Axa and 840 K by Tokyo Marine (against a modest rise in my premium).

all sorted...she is keeping the car..but she did try a 50000..come see you..which would have taken the payments up to date...no way...she has to find it
I would suggest once again to let her go as well. She is clearly being dishonest and will try again if she can.

One reason for which I have shunned going out to eat with my Thai colleagues after two or three experiences: they only talk about food. Boring conversations. No intellect.
And they oblige you to share the food (whether they like it or not).

From a legal point of view, the idea of applying a statute of limitations to someone because he was not present to be indicted sounds as utter rubbish.
