Thanks, I haven't thought about the service. Fortunately, I'm pretty handy with tools and can do most of the ordinary maintenance myself. I guess the closest Triumph dealer is in Chiang Mai....need to check that.
As for lifestype, slow and quiet is what I like. I have plenty of hobbies and interests to last 2 lifetimes. ?

Hi
Hope some of you guys can give me some advice.
I recently went on a bike trip through Nan and absolutely loved the roads up there. I live in Chachoengsao and as far as roads go, it's the opposite of Nan. I also liked the quiet and relaxed atmosphere and generally had a very good feeling. I admit, I only stayed few days so I most likely saw only the nice bits. That's why I'm here asking for your thoughts.
How's life up there? As a motorcycle enthusiast I know I would love to live close to those amazing roads, but what about the rest?
I had a quick look at the available properties in and around Nan, but to my surprise only found very few for sale. Do you have any links you can share about properties in Nan province?
Is the immigration office relaxed like the rest of the province? Any problems there?
Is paddy fields burning a problem like in Chiang Mai?
Anything important I should know? Thanks for your help!

I use the Thai post A LOT (in and out of TH) and can only say good things about them. Once I wrote the wrong address on a parcel, they tracked it down before it left the country and sent it back to me. Would have been a big cockup for me. My home country post is not half as efficient as the Thai one, and it's in Europe.

Glad you liked it ?

We keep one garbage bin just for bottles, tins, cardboard and plastics, the other one is just for food scraps. I think we are the only ones in a village of 40 houses to bother. It just saves the garbage men having to sort through all the wet garbage to find the recyclables.
I do the same.

If you get all worked up for such a minor thing, you better stay out of sight and let the TW handle it. Legal action for 400baht....pffffahahaha

4th year starts April 1 2010 38.18%
5th year starts April 1 2011 32.73%
6th year starts April 1 2012 27.27%

A proper lifting table is about 20k Baht. I would get one if I had more space (or less bikes).

looks nice. Available in Thailand?
-
Or a Moto Guzzi!
-
Hmm...don't think so. Didn't Japan and Thailand start a 0% tax agreement since end of last year?
-
W650 actually. Lovely bike. Hadn't it been for the Triumph Street Twin, I would have gotten the W800 (the last of the big W series).

Have a look at the new Kawasaki W175. Same style, very good price and it's a KAWA!
-
Looks very nice and perfectly priced to take away customers from Stallions.

Kinda. More than succeed, it was built alongside the SR, which has outlived the SRX ten times over. The styling was not so successful, even though it was a fun and reliable bike.

SRX? Maybe you mean a SR400 inspired bike like the Stallion 400?

So do all the new pseudo cafe racers, but that's what they call them now.

Sure there are similarities, especially with the Diavel. But since they presented the Leoncino they seem to go in the right direction, without copying other bikes.
I still give them a thumbs up.

Sorry to hear about your problems.
I don't think you'll find too many here with this 3 wheeler, and I seriously doubt you will be able to force Ryuka into a recall.
As I see it you have 2 options, get it fixed by yourself, ie permanently weld the broken pieces together,
Or ask the shop where you bought it to order new parts for you. Shouldn't be that expensive anyway.
Good luck

I wouldn't do it either.
If the buyer is in Thailand, he should have a bank account. Much easier and no (or minimal) fees.
Considering relocation to Nan, seek advice

Is the coffee shop called Wee Wee? We stopped there for a very nice lunch and there were a few bikers there.
Phrae would be nice too.
