I recently (this week) applied for my first yearly extension of stay based on marriage and did not require a witness. They asked about children to my wife but that was it. Took in heaps of photos and let them choose the ones they wanted.. Seems we might have got lucky with the witness which I would have considered a major pain in the neck...

I did my first extension based on marriage swapping from a tourist visa to Non O then to the extension and did not need a witness. Looks like it is hit and miss on the witness. Anyone else care to share if they required a witness..

Also seems to be a lot of people asking can you change from a tourist visa to non- O visa based on marriage at Jomtien and the answer is yes.. Well at least it was for me..

Questions should always be raised when an individual has soooo much trouble proving there whereabouts.. What should be so simple is incredibly difficult for Nomsod and his proof very very questionable. The furniture in the lobby is of great concern, or at least it should be for anyone verifying his alibi.
