  1. Got any friends? Friend of mine has his UK pension paid into my UK account and I give it to him in Baht weekly. My bank doesn't charge for Swift transfers in any case. Otherwise for that amount you might just as well use an ATM.

What bank you with that doesn't charge for swift transfers?
    +1?
    Lloyds TSB Offshore

Sent from my iPhone using ThaiVisa app

So its not a UK based bank.

How do they make their money on transfers then?

If no swift fee they must charge you another way.

  3. Goes to show you the Thais are some of the most gracious people in the world.

Maybe save a few baht and buy a pair of proper trousers for the next event and you'll have many more memories to treasure, but denim at a formal function seriously ?[/quote

Why would you have more memories if you wear trousers?

    Ridiculous comment.

  4. I tell you the OP seems to have some sort of personal interest in this business I think as he's getting very agitated with the replies.

If he was just doing a favour and letting people know about the business his first post and answering questions would be all that was needed but now he's so upset he's spouting off about his prior business credentials to try to offer interested parties his view in why its a good deal.

Come on op, spill the beans. If you don't have an interest, calm down and shut up.

  5. I agree with gone. It's not fair taking one kid or even a few for a treat.

I think it better to buy them all a happy meal, KFC or hire a bouncy castle, magician etc. so they can all have a good time.

    Nice idea but rethink.

Do you realise how many kids there are? You'd have to be really well off to buy them all anything.

Also, it's like a home to them, not an institution, so it'd be no different to one child from a normal family going out for the day without their siblings.

Also, the age range is from newborn to secondary school students, maybe even uni, so I don't think a bouncy castle is going to do it for teenagers!

It was only a suggestion pal, keep your feking hair on. Jeezus.

  6. Thai square restaurant chain. Very good and will cook the food how you like it.

I live just outside London and visit once a month with wife and family.

She says what she wants and they serve it, no complaint from her which makes a change!!!
