More than likely borrowing money and finally told no. The Brit had the right to spend his money as he saw fit but why flaunt your wealth in a poor country next to poor relatives.
Were the relatives "poor"?
Apparently the couple were killed because the brother felt annoyed about being spoken down to. He was able to afford BHT50k to hire killers.
Loss of 'face' was the main motive here (and of course the inane thought process).

Why do they always refer to the main honcho as a 'master mind' ? They should use other words which are not complimentary.
The dictionary describes master mind as -
-
NOUN
-
a person with an outstanding intellect.
VERB-
plan and direct (an ingenious and complex scheme or enterprise).

What if one of those remaining kids becomes incapacitated? What then smart guy? How long would this project have taken to produce? Days or a week, not hours. Plus fly it over personally all at his own expense. At the risk of sounding Trump like I'll just say, "Great Canadian guy, EH!".
Born and bred in South Africa actually.

... and people say profiling is wrong...
It may generally be wrong, but an exception should be made for Nigerians.

Thailand is too frightening - can not live in Thailand, despite all the good things. Can never feel absolutely safe.
There are far too many ridiculous enforcements of twisted rules - arresting of bridge players, mushroom pickers...
Next, people will be arrested for farting (air pollution) or burping (noise pollution) or breathing (oxygen thieves) - too weird and unsettling.
There is an ancient saying that is so true -
The more corrupt the state, the more numerous the laws.

S H E said ? never thought gender was so capricious
That is usually the type of comment made, oh so often, when a ladyboy is referred to as 'she'.
Ladyboys want to be referred to as females and in this case it is obvious 'she' is definitely not a 'he'..

He looks as if he could handle himself. I know he only spoke 2 words 6 times but he sounded South African.

I admire him and his wife. It is not merely a case of 'cheque book' charity but a genuine wish to do good.
From what I could see in the photos this couple do not live extravagantly. Well done I say.

Amazing... and there are those who condemn profiling.
An exception should be made for Nigerians.
Why do all these Nigerians visit or live in Thailand, to get a sun tan?

It doesn't add up. "The prime minister bought three young dogs belonging to the famous Bangkaew breed for Bt25,000, although the market price was Bt6,000 for each puppy" 3x6000 = 18 000. The breeder diddled the PM by charging 25 000.

Anantachai Chaiyadej, who represents the victim’s family, is obviously very good at his job and really deserves future business from those of us that need a good lawyer. I seem to remember that he offered his services for free.

5000 baht is only 128 Euros, remember he's a German from the German economy. Make it hurt. add a zero, 50000 baht. What a loser. And 50 years old, to boot.
Fine should be at least Bt30 000 especially if the mayor paid a reward of Bt30 000.

He must go, hopefully without blood shed. So far the army has handled this matter well. The people of Zimbabwe deserve fresh hope, although it remains to be seen if one dictator will be swopped with another. At the end of the day his wife, Grace, must definitely be precluded from any political power.

Nice to know that you read them all. That must be a fact based on your evaluation. I pity you for having to go trough that heavy work load. Thanks anyway for your serious devotion.
No, no! Moder nature, fought back and paved the way for humans to feel good with themselfs again.
Pathetic. Blood transfusions, heart replacements Pace Makers and all modern medical procedures are not 'normal' but Moder nature generally accepts these procedures. However Mother Nature does not accept malpractice in any form.

Yes, I would also hate British George as my neighbour.

As stated, if Yingluck has 40 000 000 baht, then she is a millionaire. Must a person's wealth be converted to USD in every instance to establish if that person is a millionaire? A little arrogant, no?
"A millionaire is an individual whose net worth or wealth is equal to or exceeds one million units of currency."
Arrogant - "having or revealing an exaggerated sense of one's own importance or abilities"
-
I wonder if the sentences were "leaked" to Yingluck in order to prompt her to leave Thailand.

Zuma needs another emergency water supply, sorry swimming pool ..........
To try and placate the people, and mitigate the spending of public funds for zuma's private home, the swimming pool was eventually called a 'fire pool' by his cohorts.
