He is obviously a very good actor. He has them all enthralled.

They were useful once but when they were proven to be useless, they were not used.
They were useful?? I thought that was the basis of the fraud prosecution, they were never useful.
There may have been a translation problem. Perhaps it should read - "They were used once but when they were proven to be useless, they were no longer
notused."These translations from Thai to English are often distorted, as most readers should be aware of, but TV members mistakenly pounce on translated statements as if they are indisputable and accurate.

“I didn’t realize the stones were fossils until some neighbors posted pictures of them on social media,” said Mr Wuttichai.
... fossilized what ??
Fossils (from Classical Latin fossilis; literally, "obtained by digging")[1] are the preserved remains or traces of animals, plants, and other organisms from the remote past.

Talk to any cop or EMT in any city in the world and you will find that no matter where, people kill themselves every day, often in bazaar and convoluted ways...not unique to Thailand
According to WHO, Thailand was tied with Cuba for 56th place in 2012 world suicide stats...below the USA (50), Japan (17) and surprisingly, S.Korea at #2. Guyana was #1
Of course. mere facts wont deter the TV Constant Conspiracy Squad from their "Only in Thailand" mentality.
"Thailand was tied with Cuba for 56th place in 2012 world suicide stats"
Perhaps these stats should make mention of "alleged" suicides.

The photo says it all. Look at the smirks on the faces of the monks and even a smile from one cop.

''Privileged whites are treated differently''
He was CONVICTED of a lesser crime by a black judge and the harsher punishment was given to him by a white judge but that is irrelevant because the SA justice system is actually quite impartial which is why it's convicted a multi-millionare international sports star in this case and why it doesn't even mind going after the country's sitting president (read Zuma, constitutional court, Nkandla) Not many other countries' courts go after fame and fortune. I'm proud of ours and sorry that you obviously got your info on SA from a racist (black or white) old timer.
it beats me how you can possibly be proud of a justice system that after the first trial gave him no more than a slap on the wrist for killing another human being
Could you state your country please?
Asiantravel- you seem to be twisting your attack, now that your previous racist assertion was defeated by the actual facts. I too would be interested in knowing where you are from and what is the reason for this uncalled for racist slur.
... shows how the privileged whites are treated differently. (?)

A few water cannons, and a liberal dose of tear gas
would shift them,I am sure, its just the Govt. does
not have the guts to do it,plus the Abbott thinks he
is above the law.

he is such an actor and on the BBC website there is even a suggestion he may get off with time already served which would be disgusting.
what a shambles of a so-called justice system which throughout this and the previous trial shows how the privileged whites are treated differently
You are 22 years too late with your uninformed comments.
In fact your words privileged whites can be considered an oxymoron in todays South Africa.
- Oxymoron - " figure of speech that juxtaposes elements that appear to be contradictory. "

Police said that Theeraphat had no issues with any other students in the area and think it was a case of mistaken identity''
So they have no evidence that this was mistaken identity then, just an assumption [well guess].
They have no evidence? Says who? Did it occur to you that they may have spoken to the victim and know that he had no problems with the student who shot him?
The assumption, well, guess, is yours.
There is no evidence ..., perhaps the student who shot him, had a problem with him?
Evidence definition, that which tends to prove or disprove something

What have you got against the tigers ? They have suffered enough.

Well done Parnthip. Happy ending to what most likely would have been a tragedy. Stupid owners.

Those youngsters look like a real bunch of hardend criminals. I hope the good citizens continue with their noble crusade, especially if others are having fun.

Did they copy the "Cunning Ideas" from Boris of The Black Adder TV series ?
No... probably from Baldrick of the Black Adder series.
-
Actually, that is a hatchet, but "Hatchet Man" doesn't roll off the tongue as well.
Neither would "chopper"

"They both seem to think they're above the law. Trump is much cruder and more personal and vitriolic and quotable..."
Summed up perfectly.

The protesters may have sound reasons for their protest, but unfortunately their “No more talk, we want food” chanting, loses impact when the photo shown is of chunky ladies..

Its no wonder Thais are not a milk drinking nation. This will discourage many Thais.

That Python is lucky, Cobra's are deadly
A King Cobra only eats other snakes.( mostly other cobras) If she (females are normally the large ones) wasn't there looking for the python then there are other cobras in the area that she is hunting
She must then be a Queen Cobra ?

I wonder the size of the brown envelope that certificate cost?
What sort of moron would do such a thing thinking the fact the monk has never been treated at the hospital would never come out? Or, was he confident that, even if it did come out, no punitive action would be taken?
Definitely the latter.
