  1. I'm looking to buy a PS3 for my place to try stop me going out so much. I don't know much about them so I need some advice.

    1) Where is a good shop to get a genuine PlayStation 3 in Bangkok?

    2) I've been looking online and I noticed they have different GB's, what does this mean? I want to buy one that will be able to play any of the games I buy. I am mostly looking to buy the new Grand Theft Auto & Fifa 14, so will I need a certain amount of GB's to play these games? For some reason I'm guessing the GB's is to do with how many games you can save on the console? If I'm right, if I ever run out could I buy something to add on which would give me more memory?

Sorry if I sound quite thick, I haven't brought a console in years and I'm trying to work how much money I need to be saving.

    Cheers

  2. Maggie Choo's under the Novotel in Silom ..... very different (if a bit pretentious). "Secret" 1930's prohibition era Shanghai bar located off a 1930's Shanghai noodle bar with girls in Chinese silk dresses on swings and cool jazz band.

Bangkok Betty's - Holiday Inn Sukhumvit - 1950's atomic bomb factory with pin up girls. Titanium is opposite - so you can walk over the road as the all-girl band is good in this bar.

Crazy House - around the corner from Cowboy ..... it's erm ....... crazy ..... but not much fun.

    What kind of crazy?

  3. My friend has come to Thailand and is leaving after this weekend. I've already taken him to Silom and will take him to Nana/cowboy this friday. On Saturday we plan to go out in the day for some drinks. I know some alright bars to take him to but nothing more. Can anyone give me any places/bars/spots to go to that will make him go home thinking 'WOW'

Anything different or far from ordinary would be great.

    Any advice is appreciated!

  4. Hello, I'm looking to buy an iPhone 4s from the apple shop in Power Buy at MBK tonight. I''ve read reviews on the web to not buy an Iphone from MBK but surely it is safe to by from the apple shop?

When people are saying some of them are fake, they are talking about other stalls am I right?

Also, what about shops like DTAC and True move at MBK? Will these be safe to buy from?

    Thanks

  5. Those Tokay's are nothing to mess with, I got bit by one in Laos not a fun experience (not dangerous but painful), think I'd rather take my chances with the Boa!

The look horrible! When I lived near the jungle I had loads that would come into my house. If i went near them they would open their mouths and snap at me, I can imagine the bite being very bad!

    Did the bite draw blood?
