Agreed.  This is all about shifting people's rights away from them and nothing to do with health.

I have no doubt that smoking causes several conditions but to be fair I have never been offered concrete proof.  Only statistics that so that so many smokers get this and that but no direct link to smoking.  

I have said before that if there is a direct link to smoking then why haven't governments been imprisoned for murder.  If a person knowingly poisons another then it is murder.

Xi has got almost as many faces as Trump.

Xi will use Kim as a bargaining chip at the G20.  The end game however is to eventually kick Kim out and add North Korea to the Chinese empire.  The question is though, will he use Kim to take over the South first so that his hand doesn't appear to be in it.

This is the sort of person Thailand doesn't want and neither do those of us farang who live here.

The problem is that he is only the tip of the iceberg these days.  He is part of the entitlement age.  No responsibility, nor sense of responsibility, for anything he has ever done in his life.  Why doesn't the world do it his way?  Most probably no father figure in his life.

I wonder if the casinos have anything to do with it?
