BATS
When they get into the house (and alas, they sometimes do) I have to lock myself in the bedroom til morning and then find someone else tio take them away. They are creepy beyond words, even when curled up asleep. And when they swoop at you with the flapping wings..........
Not too fond of snakes either but can remotely consider trying to evict one with the aid of say a 10 foot pole. whereas the bats..... never!
What about Batman?

How about clowns.
Clowns freak me out!

Okay, so in an effort to keep this thread open - how about men who cross their legs and show that 3-4 inches of bare leg between their socks and their trouser bottoms. Get longer socks boys!
-
Wow, this thread has turned around within a single page!?!

I have to agree with some of the comments here. Men who don't trim their nasal hair?!? You shave your face, why not trim the hair? Guys walking out of the loo doing up their fly, <deleted>, why not just shout 'I don't wash my hands after I pee'?
Guys can be gross but some of the things are so easily avoided.

Rice has gone up in price in the last year or so it's unreal. Not too big a problem for me but I think of all the 'poorer' people for whom rice is the only staple. Life must be getting tougher.

These don't sound like girlie fears to me! I fear very little but wasps are the only thing being close to freaking me out. I got stung once many years ago and had a very bad reaction.

Boy, he must have been warm in that beard!?!

Good post Bagwan. I don't know if there is an answer. Perhaps the saying 'Don't speak ill if the dead' rings true. After my father died, one of my sisters said to me that our father was an ars@hole. I replied that he did have his failings (don't we all) but he wasn't the worst dad in the world, and always provided well for the family. On reflection I now feel better that I tried to bring to mind the positives rather than the negatives. I could still bring to mind the negatives but that wouldn't be fruitful or beneficial.
BTW I'm an Irishman from a family of 13, we did have a few beers in his memory.
ps good joke too...

You can use fresh pineapple juice on meat as a tenderizer.
Apparently its enzymes break down the meat fibre and make it softer.
I've used it on beef for stir fries and it makes cheap cuts very tender.
Plenty of stuff about this on google.
That's true that is, pineapple juice is a tenderiser, I used to use it on the cheaper cuts of meat (leave it soaking in the juice for as long as possible) and then make a very special gravy with the 'meaty' pineapple juice.

Never heard of it, had to do a Google...
Fermented Basking Shark.... could be an acquired taste.
Trust me, ya don't want to try it!!!

So, er, is this good or bad then?

Some funny stuff there sbk.

It's an interesting list Kan Win. One would hope that most, if not all, (and perhaps more!) are fairly obvious.

Sounds great - I don't think I can get kaffir lime juice though!

Looks great mate, was it just chillies mixed with honey or did you add any other ingredient?

Whilst it's a good point about speed BusyBee, a helmet is a potential life saver at all speeds. I crashed doing 30 and if I had not been wearing a helmet my head would have been smashed up big style.
Also, a 500 baht lid is better than none.

I love it!

I would have thought any time outside the 'rainy' bit was high season!

This has my support.

I hadn't thought about it like that Northbank. Hmmmn...

Yeah, cos it's so sterile and clean. I pee in my pants rather than washing them, keeps them clean for a week!
