I just returned from a holiday in Tenerife. We stayed in a 'family' resort and I can tell you now I would have loved it to be a 'no kids' resort!
-
As I alluded in the 'other' thread, you are in my thoughts and prayers daily.
-
Whole or diced?
-
Hey sbk, many happy returns. Have a great day!
-
What is this thread about???
-
It's very beautiful.

Good one peter, well done!
-
MUST be made and eaten fresh! Yummy.

I also went for the mustard option, not too strong though. And the most important thing with salmon, please, please, please don't overcook the salmon. Very lightly fried or grilled is my favourite. Another way to cook as patsy mentioned, to to make a 'pasty' shape with tinfoil, add in a little oil, garlic and whatever herb you fancy. Yummy.
I also have a Thai fish dish that I use salmon with, it's cooked in the oven in coconut milk with a few chillies, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, a little crushed garlic, some spring onion (white part finely chopped) fish sauce, corriander and lemon juice. Very mild even for people who don't like spicy.

That's a great shot peter!

I'd need more detail before having an opinion on this one. I think the mods do a great job under really difficult circumstances.

Nice one!

Just to ne different: Don't buy it! When will you wear it? It's a waste of money at any price! Just get yourself some sackcloth and ashes...
Of course you should buy it and wear it often, even if just for dinner or lunch or breakfast...

My experience of fusion food is that dishes from many styles and places are served on the one menu, and should compliment each other. So how does this sound? Noodle soup to start, then some sushi and veg tempura followed by a green curry. Simple ice cream to finish.
I'd have thought Thai food that's lighter (or made lighter to fit) and fragrant and fresh would be perfect for fusion.
Thanks for your ideas Suegha!
That what you are saying would be a fushion menu, I would like it as well .
What I mean as "fusion":
A yam neua with a good imported beef as a starter
or
a pasta dish with a tom yam spiced tomato sauce
or
a sticky rice mousse with mango sauce
some more ideas?
Gerd
Excellent Gerd, I'll give it some more thought and get back.
ps I really like the pasta idea, maybe spaghetti would work well?

Fitne tea is fine for me!
That said, you should include more veg in your diet..
-
Hey Gerd, looks great! Please post the details of the ingredients and method of cooking.
Cheers

This is a great poll. It nearly proves that polls are always sometimes occasionaly not very reliable, although sometimes polls prove the opposite and is not the very often the case.
Well done op!

Can we merge them when this happens?

A Kebab? On Samui? I don't believe it! I thought you had to be seriously drunk to want a kebab?!?

Ignore the contradictory replies. Go to Lamai and explore, there's plenty to do and you'll find lots of good bars to visit. Make your own fun and enjoy yourself.

Welcome to tv - enjoy yourself!

Thanks for the link, but I have to say, what a load of old <deleted>!

Squats and the such like shouldn't bulk you up unless you're doing them using weights. With no weights and doing lots of reps they should just tone you up.
Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates are great for improving your overall health and body shape, but yes, they do take a bit longer and it takes more dedication.
I do 6 hours in the gym a week doing 3 hours resistance and 3 hours CV, I also do Yoga once a week and an advanced Tai Chi session for 1 and 3/4 hours once a week. It works for me!
