  1. There was five of us at a restaurant in the US ready to order. The waitress didn't have a pad to write anything down. When I said something about it she said "it's OK I have a photographic memory" I laughed in her face.

By the way the US is near "merica"

  2. I hope you ate it all......and then refused to pay because it was not what you ordered!

This is a trick pulled by one farang I know, always cleans his plate and then does not want to pay!

I am surprised he survived the first one he tried. Things are not going to go well for this guy. But we know these guys never leave...until it's in a bag anyhow.

  3. I came for low cost of living. Being a non drinker and non smoker I find ,women the world over are easy to get,but thai women are definitely more feminine and a joy to be around more so than women from many other countries.

I suggest you havent tried out Vietnam....Give it a go, you most probably wont come back to Thailand....

The eyes on those Hanoi gals are captivating.

  4. The worst tourists I encounter, without doubt, are the brain dead groups of single British males who arrive around Xmas time. Mostly they have shaven heads, are heavily tattooed, always loud, usually drunk and show no respect to anyone. Their behaviour in bars is abhorrent and anyone who objects to their behaviour is threatened with violence. They are an absolute disgrace to their country!

Why pick on the British?, I have seen many Europeans Aussies American just as obnoxious and also met many Brits tourists and ex pats who are quiet the opposite to your labeling of Brits.

Sorry but I'm British and I'm ashamed to say our Wrecking Crews make other Nationalities look like babes in arms

I would hate to see them try that in the US.

  5. They try to run these bars with one refrigerator. Some bars will turn it up to save money. Often they stock it too close to serving time. The list goes on. My favorite bar usually has cold beer because I trained them and I have been a monster bar customer in the past, so they listen to me.

  6. if you are doing pt/inr, a range of 2.0 to 3.0 is a common desired range. range must be set by a doc.

i use the coaguchek and check pt/inr weekly. i am on coumaden/warfaren for life due to a DVT.

coaguchek is a hand held device which gives readings with in a min.

I have read about INR extensively. That is the part that doesn't make sense. He said less than 15 was normal.

With this meter do you do a conversion with that number he gave me?

  7. It's been raining for days near Sakon Nakhon.

For the past 2 weeks we have had massive downpours and thunderstorms here in Udon.

A bit late with the good news arn't we.

Yes. I should have brought the subject up sooner.

My buddy has a house and he is sick of the rain already. His roof(Brand New) is leaking and the water is washing his new yard away.

The Thai repairman said he wouldn't work on the roof if there is a chance of rain.
