You can die in minutes about a stomach ulcer burst.

Not everything must be a murder case!!!

And maybe Plavix for blood clots.....etc.

I would rather prefer they open the Klang / Suk intersection as soon as possible. Since Motorcycles are not allowed on the tunnel, they can it keep closed forever. But please open the intersection.

That fact that Klang and Suk is closed explains why traffic flow is so much faster thru that area.

I had never noticed the actual socket opening being different sizes (have 3 pin sockets similar to the "elephant" brand posted above).

However I often have problems plugging in 2 pin plugs as they do not seem to go in easily or properly and always thought it was because the sockets were not very good. Have just checked Hatari stand fan but I cannot see any appreciable difference in the plug size but definitely seems to go in one way better than the other.........also the prongs on these flat 2 pin items seem to bend very easily?

I learn a lot from these guys. About Thai wiring and it's good to be aware of safety concerns  here  in Thailand.

Difficult to suggest a suitable gift without knowing how much you want to spend.

A gift of cash might be a bit crass, but probably appreciated more than anything else.

How about gold jewellery - maybe a small Buddha pendant. Then he could sell it if he needs the cash.

I think Gold is a very good idea. Easily converted to cash if he chooses.

This is the whole point. If you look at it carefully the road slopes up into the tunnel, not down. It cannot flood except perhaps in the case of a mega-tsunami that engulfs the whole town. The end result is exactly the same as if the road was still on the surface (which part of it still is) and the water flow to surrounding areas will be exactly the same as before.

So the low-lying sections of Sukumvit will flood as they always do, but the tunnel will not.

Good point. The Suk will be a traffic jam during heavy rains just like always. Who cares if the tunnel floods.

Nope, plenty of offers around , and the best of them all is Deli Diner opposite Tukcom

99 baht for this British breakfast , with 2 toasts, bacon, sausages, eggs, beans, tomato, fried potato. Coffee and juice included.

Having said that , I also prefer to cook at home , but this breakfast at Deli Diner is real value for money, coffee is good too.

Let's face it , Chiang Mai can't compete at all , yes they do have some good restaurants if you don't care about your budget .

There is no way he is making money selling that breakfast for 99THB.
