Heard it a few times from Gypsies, just before trying to sell me some "lucky" Heather.

You do know that most iPhones come with a built in GPS locator, don't you?. You can install the locator on another iPhone or an Ipad and use your original login details to track it.

People should be given a I.Q test before coming here.
Just buy her a house and send her your bank/credit card details. This will guarantee to cut out many wasted years of misery and a million posts on TVF asking " Where did i go wrong?"

Any local market will often have hundreds of them. 50 baht or so.

I wouldn't worry about it.

I don't understand some people here. It's the OPS own house, he should be able to leave his own money wherever he damn well pleases, without it going missing.

If her IBone was broken, how did she manage to call you ?

If anyone ever touched one of my children, Immigration would not need to be informed.. The only people needing his information would be either an ICU or an undertaker.

It's the same in Hua Hin.

People will often use a random company name in the hopes that the authenticity is somehow overlooked. Unsurprisingly, (In Thailand at least), they often succeed.

I had my UK bank send them here and activated them online.

I opened a Bangkok bank account ( around 12 years ago) just using my passport and a hotel address. I have travelled between Nigeria, the UK and Thailand for several years before I finally resided here, Still using the same account. ( I did update my address once i moved here though)

Just make sure that it's a brand new crisp 10 Dollar bill. I have seen them refuse slightly creased ones, and their exchange rate is a rip off

I had the same problem. I just boil water in a microwave for tea or coffee now.

I was only ever asked once about this. Told them my address (in Thai) and drew a crude map. This was three years ago and I have never been asked for proof again.

Sometimes, they do seem backward. My missus washed my Krungthai passbook, so i took the ruined book ( still fully legible) back to my branch to get a new one. They told me that i had to report it to the police. Go figure.

RE, the title of this post.
So you're going to kill a Songkraner and THEN run over him ?? wow, that's really mean

You have heard the phrase " There's a bug in my computer" yes?. Well, the phrase originates from a cockroach that was trapped between the relay contacts of a computer in the 1950's. It is a fairly well known fact that insects are attracted to electrical equipment, much to their demise. Snakes, however, seem to like high voltage power supplies ( so double check whether those cables, really are cables)

I recommend that you google " Animal Farm Movie", there are several versions that could put you in prison.

Having been in a few ( supposedly) haunted homes in my time. I would simply ask them what they wanted ? ( surely, they are making noises to attract your attention right ?). Although, I have to admit, I have never yet received a reply.

My missus bought our fridge around ten years ago and they were only removed when she came to live with me, three years ago.

My washing machine didn't have the earth pin fitted. I had planned to cut the 2 pin plug off and fit a 3 pin. At the local hardware store, ( looking for a 3 pin plug), they showed me the earthing pins ( Yep, you buy the earth pin extra and screw it into the plug). I like to call it the "Aftermarket Safety Factor Alternative". ( as an alternative to dieing of electrocution)
P.S. Earth Pin = Ground(ing) Pin ( for our US friends)

My missus has several books on the English language ( supposedly written by native English speakers) and i have spent many hours correcting them. One example - "Single' (Noun) 1. only one in number; one only; unique; sole:. Now, maybe times have changed (although, I don't think so) but, when i went to school, the word "Single" was an Adjective
