I haven't seen this one yet. But, i remember when the BBC did a documentary about Nigeria, called "Welcome To Lagos" and i fully expected it to focus on the 419 scams and fake princes ETC. How wrong i was. I was living on a ship ( berthed in Kiri Kiri, Lagos) at the time, and they actually showed Lagos, how it really is, and the reality of the daily life of the people there. I had heard all the stories ( mostly scary) about Nigeria before i sailed, but the reality ( that i witnessed) and the media's portrayal of Nigeria, was so different. Excellent documentary

Back in my Uni days, we were given tthe circuit diagram of what is called ( in the UK) a Pelican crossing. It's a fact, that at certain (busy) times of the day, a timer circuit kicks in and pressing the button only lights up the console ( It absolutely does bugger all else). My 3bb in Hua Hin, goes down around 20 times a day for a few minutes. I've had the engineers out several times but they just say it's a server bottleneck ( it isn't because i can see the signal dropout). 12 hours is a long time though, maybe there's a server being upgraded.
