Not holding my breath, though.
Don't hold your breath.
There is of course NO reasoned argument for Brexit and never has been - just a mix of archaic ideas of sovereignty and racism.

I hope the corny of all those Brexiteers flying with Thomas cook is't lost on them.
BTW - if you are living in the EU, don't worry your healthcare is good for......well 6 months......then it's up to you

Electric cars are the solution, and better than fossil fuelled, but should be powered by hydrogen, not batteries that pollute to make and dispose of.
Till they make an electric car that can be refuelled in the same length of time as a petrol powered one, they ain't going to be a viable alternative outside cities.
If I make an 8 hour journey, I'm not stopping for an hour or more to recharge.
People who believe technology will save us are in for a nasty shock.

If that comment is the level of your science, i suspect the average teenager's level is way ahead of you.
You probably do need a teenager to teach you a thing or two.

The thing youths never realise is that having an opinion is not knowledge.
If they were actually wanting to do something, rather than having a love in, they should go out and pick up garbage.
How many of them refuse to travel in fossil fuelled vehicles, don't use mobile phones or avoid air travel? Need I use the H word?
Pick up garbage?
An example of the profound ignorance that surrounds climate change deniers

About 25 million too many of them here already. The less foreigners the better. Thailand needs to grow up and learn more is not better. Mass tourism has destroyed the reason for visiting here.
Thailand hs indeed plundered and destroyed much of the natural resources that made tourism about 20% of the Thai economy. However the industry will continue to thrive with less discriminating markets.....So I'd see the future as more tack and more pollution.

I think it is quite possible that METV and entry restrictions in gnarl are having an effect. many Asian tourist are on packages and their visa is included ....European tourists stay longer and often try to use Thailand as a hub...the more difficult this becomes the less appealing it becomes as a destination.
however as a tacky destination a mass production line of various Chinese and local visitors may be more lucrative, and if European visitors stopped completely the overall figures would simply be the same as about 5 years ago.

THere's loads of housing around there. Both in new estates/villages and condos. A lot would depend on what you ae doing out there, e.g. which industrial estate you are working on.
Check Google maps and the property web sites to get an idea where everything is. You'll need transport.

The British system has had parliament for 800 years...but only had democracy of a sort for about 150 and properly for all for about 90, if the will of the people is thwarted now that democratic experiment has come to an end. Truly all that will be left is a police state and voting proven to be no longer worth the ballot paper.
Why is it that Brexiteers who never showed any interest in democracy before now have the most distorted view possible?

It's your lot that made the claim first that it's a myth, and you have failed to support it, so by your own standards you lack credibility.
I don't refust to offer anything to back it up, I just insist that you back up your claim that there's no problem first, then I'll respond, rather than me do all the work for you for you to just come back glib and unsubstantiated refutations. I've done this before, I know how the game goes.
You are the propagandist, and you'll have to raise your game. I and many others have acres of evidence that utterly refutes your claims, but I'm not going to post it until you post your evidence, because your side made the claim first - that it's a myth about... well go back and read it further up the thread...

Probably the most facile, off topic post on the thread so far .... Please find explain how this is in any way connected to a drop in European visitors to Thailand

Whether numbers are up or down the fact remains that the demographics have changed forever and nearly half of visitors are now from Asia. So hotels that fail to truly cater for this are going to feel the pinch the most

The main one was unwanted immigration and its negative effects on life in the UK for its native population such as its traditional culture, terrorism, crime, unemployment, employment conditions, housing and general overcrowding.
The other was the perceived EU interference in our 'sovereignty' such as what laws we choose to implement and how we choose to implement them.

No that's a typical remainers point of view trying to justify why leave voters wanted to leave the entity called the EU.
Lets call them racists we feel better but really it just makes you look inept and rather simple.
As far as I can still see, the EU which has mostly Europeans citizens are all one race, which shows my previous statement to be true.
Have you noticed how racists spend most of their time claiming they aren't racist?
-
so many Brexiteers the whole thing comes down to race.......
Racism is the ultimate form of stupidity

Farage says Brexit will be delayed again when PM Johnson's deal falls

Before referendum or election there has to be another kick-back of Article 50.
Boris's tactic is to do whatever...unlawful or not ....until the UK finds itself on the other side of the Brexit deadline.
