  2. I did a home made mod today! Removed the pillion hand grip at the rear and placed white plastics to cover the wholes after. This is just temporarly as I want to install the race seat that totally removes the pillion seat and replaces with a nice rounded white plastics. But in the meantime this is what I got smile.png I think it looks so much better without the hand grips at the rear. Looks like a scooter setup with those on. Let me know what you guys think!

    Many thanks.

1 st time noticed that British and Australians were different by 5 $ US.

yep, canadians get stung, but then the loas travelling to canada gets stung as well, if they can get a visa, so fair play

  5. I stay at the Novotel. Good service and english speaking.

I normally go to the Kop Jai deu restaurant, it has many foreign & local dishes and inexpensive. The beer Lao draft is

a must - get a pitcher and enjoy.

you really could not pay for experience a more sanitized tourist version of vientiane if you tried.

btw i am rather partial to the beau rivage right on the river, though i have not been since the construction of the river kicked into high gear. it had just moved into the area last i was there.

  6. I have spent time at each of the schools and the quality of the staff and their dedication is exemplary, with nothing to chose between them in this respect - keen, enthusiastic, dedicated. All of them are English, with little or none of the language corruption of American 'teachers'.

way to blow what appeared to be a reasoned argument with irrational bias.

so am i to take it that international means British?

  7. ikea, you can buy all sorts of duvets and covers with various weights.

i personally sleep under a warm duvet with the air on. i hate sleeping under a sheet or one of those towels that pass for blankets here

  8. Thanks for all the information. It's good to hear some people release the little guys for merit.

I can't say I'm not sickened that some people could cook any living, feeling creature alive, culture or not. There are many humane ways to kill food, and I can't comprehend how somebody could boil something alive without thinking of the pain and suffering of that creature.

so i gather you dont like lobster?

  9. Sedating Kids On Long Haul Flights

The fun begins when you need to evacuate the aircraft in an emergency. Same-same for the adults who've drunk themselves into oblivion.

a friend and his mother boarded a flight from LA to jo burg, each took a halcyon and had to be wheelchaired off when the flight did not take off due to a mechanical issue they could not manage to fix.
