There's nobody out there who has another idea? I can even connect to SKYPE web version using the Skype ID and password. It's just the desktop version that won't start. I uninstalled the desktop version three times, deleted the directory manually, but the problem persists...
-
Yes, it's the WIN download version. I just signed out two days ago and I can't get back in. The version on WIN10 does not connect as well. But the ones on my mobile devices and Mac Book, no problem. Just the WIN version gives me a headache.

I use Skype on my WIN 10 desktop and on my mobile devices. I seem to have a problem with signing in on my WIN 10 desktop version. I re-installed Skype twice but still can't sign in. When prompted for the Password, it just jumps back to the Password input (see screenshot) without giving me an error code or something that I can't connect. On all my mobile devices I can sign in and even on Skype Online. Has anybody got an idea what the problem could be? I've read a few things on the Skype Help page, but nothing so far has solved the issue. Thanks in advance.

Well, I had a test ride on the Scorpion FS 26 two weeks ago in Hongkong and must say that it was a hell of a ride. I did about 2 hours of riding and didn't feel a thing. It had the Bodylink Seat which seemed a bit small at first, but felt really comfortable. I am seriously considering getting one, which would mean ordering it via Hongkong and then bring it back here via airplane. I think it shouldn't be a problem since the whole thing weighs less than 25kg. Has anyone ever imported one to the Land of Smiles?

I'm planning to fly to HK next weekend and want to leave my car at the car park at Swampy. Can I use the car park opposite the terminal for 3 nights as I don't want to leave it in the open at the long-term car park? Even if it's 300 baht a day, it's cheaper for me than taking a taxi, because I drive from Nakhon Pathom.

But good videos are not entirely made of drone footage, so I think a decent camera is a must, Seedger. Of course, I'm also considering to invest in a drone to supplement the camera videos.

Which Olympus models would that be?

I want to start getting into videography. I have thought about the CANON G7X Mark II. Is this a good model to start off with? Are there any comparable cameras that do the same things for less money? The quality of the videos and pictures should be worth putting on Youtube and so on. I opted for the CANON because I have had only good experiences with digital cameras from CANON in the past. I'm open to any comments and suggestions. Thanks guys.

Why shouldn't I get a folding trike? What is the downside?
I was looking at the Scorpion FS20. It's got the full suspension but you can fold it.

Well, I'm after a tadpole. I've had a look at the HP Velotechnik from Germany. They have an agent in Hong Kong. I am considering going there if I can't find anything locally.

Hi guys,
Has anyone got an idea if recumbent trikes are available anywhere in Thailand? I had no luck until now finding a shop or website. Any input appreciated.

Good evening lads,
Just a quick questions regarding direct flights from BKK to Shanghai. Has anyone had any experience flying with Shanghai Airlines? I'd like to get some passenger reviews. Last time I flew with Cathay, but they have a stopover in Hong Kong. I'd like to try a non-stop flight. Any comments regarding this airline welcome. Thanks in advance.

OK, guys. Went to the Chinese Visa Service this morning. Everything went smooth. I arrived at about 8:45 and there were about 10 people already waiting. They opened at 9:00 sharp. They checked all my documents at the counter and gave me a queue card. Waited about 5 minutes and It was my turn. Sat down, the girl checked the documents again and 5 minutes later I got my ticket to pick my visa up next Monday. Everything was done at 9:18. No further questions asked. Great experience.

I'll try my luck on September 22.

Is it still possible to apply for the visa at the embassy? I thought they are only accepting visa applications through the Visa Center. Anyone knows if one can apply in person at the Chinese Embassy?

Has anyone applied for a tourist visa for mainland China via the Chinese Visa Service on Petchburi Road recently? I've read on Facebook that a guy just got rejected and was told to come back in a couple of weeks. Can anyone confirm that? I have already purchased a plane ticket and booked accommodation and it's my plan to go on October 8. Any information welcome.

G'day guys. I was looking around for similar threads but only old ones came up. (2013 and earlier) I am planning for a 10-day trip to China this autumn.
Has anyone dealt with the Chinese embassy in Bangkok lately? How long does it take to get a tourist visa? What paperwork do I need? Thanks for any information.

I have to make a decision between signing up again for BUPA or getting Social Security. Does anyone have good/bad experience with Thai social security. What are the pros and cons? Thanks for any input.

Well I had some reports from my M. 6 students that there were in fact many confusing/wrong items on the English test. The students who told me scored pretty high on the TOEFL test to get into university, so I think they know what they are talking about. When does the MOE accept that an English proficiency test should be written by NES. Just use the tests that are out there? (TOEFL OR IELTS)

It's going to be expensive due to the crappy exchange rate Western Union gives. You can go to this Western Union webpage to estimate your fee/sending cost. I did a quick calculation using their web page and it appears a Bt88K payment would cost $2810 @ based on the WU exchange rate of 31.3 baht/USD. Looking at another webpage I see the average Thai bank exchange rate right now is 32.71 baht/USD which means Bt88K would be $2690. So, WU has extracted an indirect fee from you of $120 in exchange rate only. Then there is another fee depending on how you source the payment...another $5 if paying via WU Pay or bank transfer...or $145 if using debit/credit card. Western Union may be fast and convenient but you can pay dearly for that speed and convenience. Ok, lets say you source the payment from your bank account...then your total direct/indirect fees would be $125 (remember, it's their crappy exchange rate that rapes you).
Taking this into account I think it makes sense to go to the airline office in BKK and pay cash. They only accept Credit Cards (not Kbank online credit card) or Western Union Quick pay online. Thx anyway.

Did find anything on their Thailand website. Found this on US website but amount has to be USD: https://www.westernunion.com/price-estimator/start?REF_ID=6MRL-DPT1-IQWS-QWGI-VI28-OBCT-EQV3-JLES&8
Tried that but it won't let me choose the Quick Pay option.

I'd like to pay for my airline tickets via Western Union Quick Pay. The tickets are around 88,000 Baht. Who knows what the charge by Western Union will be using Quick pay? On their website I could not find any information about the fees. Thanks in advance.
Annoying Soi Dogs

Is there a legal way to get rid of Soi dogs which are constantly barking, especially at night? Are there any Tesaban offices responsible for that?
