Most likely it was his fault and people should victim blame him. All those foreigners looking to do it with all the whores. A good beating from the locals for acting up is needed once in a while or else they will all come and cause trouble. It’s always a good story when a sexpat has his face smashed in for whatever reason, don’t know, don’t care.

Report Hun Sen Threatens to Reveal Thaksin's Secret Betrayals
koele2 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Wonder if people realize hun sen was part of the Khmer Rouge, which wiped out a quarter of the population of Cambodia. Millions of Cambodians just eliminated, and this guy has a ton of skeletons in his closet. -
Analysis Thailand in Trouble: Expats Exit as Vietnam Steals the Show

All the whiners who complain about dirty looks from Thais just frequent the bars and farang places where the Thais have to deal with farangs on a daily basis. This would drive any human to give dirty looks to whiny farangs. If you venture out to where Thais are, they are normal people, and skew nicer. Most don’t care, some like farangs, some don’t like farangs. -

Finance Foreign Nationals Face Account Bans in Bangkok Bank Crackdown
koele2 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Just look for Chinese and Russian nationals with account over 10 million baht and do more due diligence. And if they are criminals, seize the money and treat it like a brown envelope. Most of the people with big money here are crooks anyway. Foreign and domestic. Leave the rest of us alone. -

US Expat in Thailand Faces 10 Years for Threatening US Senator
koele2 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Too bad he didn’t act on it. Those emails and phone calls never stop. Maybe if it happened, those annoying spam would stop. The politicians might get off their butt and stop the junk sent to us to save their necks. It’s worth a US senator if we all stopped getting spam. Senators grow like weeds. -

It would have been funny if five Thais went and ganged up on him. Probably upset him even more. -
British TikTok Star Jailed in Thailand Over Visa and Benefit Fraud
koele2 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I would guess maybe as much as half the Brits I’ve met in Thailand are getting benefits from the motherland illegally. The ones not of retirement age and do nothing all day are prime suspects. Plus they complain about everything. They figured out how to scam the system like this lady. -
Immigration Biometric System Fails to Record Data for 17 Million Travelers

This is what happens when you give major contracts to friends or siblings who have no idea how to do anything except kiss up. Extrapolate that onto the whole country and you have thailand. The amount of incompetence up top is mind blowing. -
The Pai locals barely get any real benefit. All the good land and big businesses were bought up by bangkok people years ago when Pai was recognized as the next big thing. It’s the same all over the country’s tourist hotspots. Locals own barely any of it, all the money made goes straight to bangkok, and the place is ruined because it costs too much to fix.

Thai Casinos: Haven or Hazard for ‘Grey’ Chinese Money?
koele2 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Once all the rich oligarchs, generals, and police heads figure out the distribution of the money, it’s a go. Everyone’s hands need to be greased to their satisfaction so no trouble is caused in the future. They could give two effs about casinos affecting Thai society. It’s all about the money, always has been, always will be with these people. Same pretty much all over the world. Chinese money laundering? No problem, how much is my cut? -

Foreign man assaults Pattaya transwoman over noise dispute
koele2 replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
If you live in pattaya, you should expect this type of disturbance. With all the degenerate farangs that migrate there for illicit fun. Gotta take the good with the bad. This is Thailand. Pattaya is party central. If you don’t like, move somewhere else where large amounts of ladyboys don’t party into the wee hours of the night with horny farangs. -

Ex-Thai PM Yingluck to face legal proceedings on return home
koele2 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Looks like the elites are planning another kabuki theater for her return to Thailand. Just like her brother, all this song and dance but at the end of the day everyone knows she won’t spend one day in detention. Total waste of time and resources by thousands of people to act like justice is being done and the law is being followed. He relaxed in a hospital, she might get home confinement in her penthouse for a month. And the authorities will claim justice has been served.
