They will all deflate eventually as they are under pressure and the rubber is porous at the molecular level..the mostly nitrogen molecules inside will find their way outside..its just a matter of how long it takes.

Why did it never happen with motorcycle tubes in the US then? Yes of course after a year maybe....

Same here, my Kawa with tube over 5 years old never loose air.

The Click here need a shot every week from 7psi to 29.

The front weel barely need new air, I remembered payed a tat bit more for the new inner tube when the outer was worn and replaced.

    100(in.tube)+690(out.tube)thb service at home.

The rear, just a fix new inner but 120thb all in.

Done at a road shop, perhaps low quality tube.

Works fine, but queuing up in the air line required every week.

Very strange. Also of interest is how much pressure they add. Honda specs are clearly marked yet I have measured ridiculously high PSI after the shop has put in air! IIRC almost 100PSI!!!

Does you click have  "mag" wheels or spoked wheels ?    try some "tubeless" tyres they are supposed to leak less.

Spokes, so tubeless is a no go. Funnily I had mags on another bike but Honda told me that tubeless tires wouldn't work. I never understood their explanation though.

  4. I have a Honda Clik that I have had for a few years. The tires seem to always lose air. I have tries cheap inner tubes and expensive inner tubes. No difference. The shops tell me it is because of the heat but I have owned bikes for years in Miami where it is also hot and never had a problem. Even my 40 year old Moto Guzzi rarely needed air! Does anybody know why this is? Thanks.

  5. Exactly, I renewed earlier than the expiration of my previous extension so I am good until June of 2020. I was out of the country for a little over 4 months. Left in July and came back in November of 2019. First 90 day report coming up. My question is not in regard to yearly renewal but 90 day reporting. I wasn't sure if they want to see a bank statement very time you report. Sorry it took me so long to answer. I have checked the "receive notifications" box but I never get any.

  6. I got a proof of income affidavit from the US Embassy on Dec 31, 2018 which I then used for a new extension of stay based on retirement. I was then out of the country for a few months and will have to do my first 90 day report in February. Do I still need to have 800k in the bank even though I used the letter as proof of income? Thanks.

  7. I am currently working on a cruise ship. My girlfriend will come and join me for a month on the ship in Europe. She went to VFS for a Shengen visa since she will be boarding in Amsterdam but they told her it should be applied for as a Norwegian visa since she will be in Norway more though she will never be overnight on land in any of these countries. When she spoke to the Norwegian visa section they didn't know what to do either. Does anyone know how this is supposed to work? Thanks.

  8. Has anyone that obtained a proof of income statement from the US Consulate before January 1 used it to get a new extension of stay after January 1, 2019? I got astatement from the consulate on Dec 31, 2018 and thought they were valid for 6 months. A Canadian friend went to CW with a three month old verification and was told it was too old and they wouldn't accept it. I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this.

  9.    I was in the USA last week and wanted to get an OA long stay visa. I am currently on an extension but prefer to leave my money in a US bank. The website for the Consulate in NY said they needed three copies of everything including the medical statement proving that I don't have syphilis stage 3. (Is stage 2 allowed?) Before heading to NY, I was in Miami where i lived before moving to Thailand. I contacted the local authorities and was told to obtain a criminal background check from the Clerk of Courts for the county, which I did. Went to the consul with all my papers and of course was given back a bunch of copies because they only needed 2 of each contrary to what was stated on the website. FWIW, other Thai consuls in the US ask for 4 copies. After going through my papers I am told that the background check is no good because it didn't come from the police. I tried to explain that the courts stood over the police but my explanation fell on deaf ears. Went to the NY police but the background check would take 10 days and I was leaving the US in 2 days. Tried with other local police but in New Jersey I was told that local police could not give a background check. Very frustrating to say the least. It amazes me that I have been in Thailand for 5 years both working and then retired and no criminal check is necessary but they won't accept the perfectly valid and notarized background check I provided. Now I will have to try and renew my extension with the income verification letter I got from the US Consulate on Dec 31 and hope it works. If not I will have to return to the US and start over. Fun, fun, fun.

  10. Mosan,

Thanks for all that. Was it required to get the stuff from the FBI or will local police do? Could you leave the application  in person or did you have to do it by mail? I was going to go to the consulate in NY. The crazy part is that I will be there in three weeks but I have less than 12 months on my passport and no time to get a new one before I go or after I get there. That means I will have to fly back there when my extension runs out.

  11.   I went to immigration in Bangkok today to get a reentry stamp. Usually a very easy thing to do but not today. After I paid and handed in everything it was obvious that something was wrong because many people seemed to be discussing my passport and making phone calls. After keeping me waiting over an hour I was told that my extension of stay based on retirement was wrong! A little background.....I was working as a scuba instructor in Khaolak. I had a 6 month B visa and a work permit also for 6 months. The scuba season is longer than 6 months so when that ran out I had to get another but they will only give three months because they know that that is when the job ends. OK. So before the last B visa ran out, I went to Phang Nga Immigration and got and extension of stay based on retirement. I have done this before without a problem. Bangkok immigration says that I am not allowed to get this extension and I should have extended the B visa. I tried to explain that I couldn't extend the B visa because I wasn't working anymore but they didn't want to hear it. Then they said they spoke with Phjang Nga Immigration about it and recommend that when I need to renew the extension I should do it in Phang Nga. I explained that I can't do that because I live in Bangkok. They just said "Oh".

So now I am totally confused. I thought you could get and extension as long as you held any non immigrant visa. This is what I have done before without a problem. Now they tell me this is wrong. I am worried that when I go to renew I will have a problem. Does anyone know anything about this? From what I can find online they are wrong but they are the ones that make the decisions. Thanks.
