How do they apply the 15%. Tax if they don't know what price you paid for them and whether or not you made a profit or a loss?
Not selling mine, just wondering how it works?
Its unclear for me too. I sell mine abroad now. Or I pawn them. I only buy on bx.

3 Untrue, https://bitinfocharts.com/
4 Untrue see the link above. And even if it is 10 minutes, that would be a long time even in the 20th century.
Can you not transfer money with ACH. SWIFT in seconds? AMEX/V is in the context of a transaction.
Some entity ALWAYS decides what you can and cannot do with YOUR money.
7 Untrue - only used as a store of value. Cannot be used in your teeth, unlike gold. Cannot be consumed at your wedding, unlike swine. Cannot be used in a bouquet of flowers, unlike tulips.
5 The reference is to volatility, not whether there is 1-1 USD exists.
My god. Do some better research. You can send for a few cents, it will be included in every block as none is full.
4. You have no clue. The average block time is 10 minutes. Even your website states this. 6 PER HOUR. And you'll need only 1 confirmation if no exchanges are involved. The rest you wrote sums up why theres crypto. I'm my own bank, SWIFT transfers abroad are not seconds, and even from a bank to another bank in developed countries like The Netherlands it is longer than 10 minutes. FYI, if you care to read and absorb; Lightening Network is instant.
7. If you value gold because you can use it in your teeth, jewelry or flowers because you can give them, you are insane.
5. Its still crypto you dumbass. Read up about stable coins.

It's nice that the dating site service is free. But how about the service of the girl in the picture? Does she look for a husband who makes her happy? Are there any other fees involved?
She looks so innocent. Is she a virgin?
I doubt it haha

Disgusting. And no shoes.

Also, point 5. Usdt runs on the bitcoin network. In case you look for a 1-1 usd rate.
-
My god, the nay sayers take every opportunity they can, dont they. Did someone ask you something?
@mshs Besides that your statements are highly exaggerated, some are even simply false.
Point 3. Untrue, it costs a few cents at the moment.
Point 4. Untrue, lightening network payments are instant. Otherwise its approx. 10 minutes. Besides, can you transfer money with your visa card to a friend of you across the world to his visa card?? Then you have a company deciding for you what you can and cannot do or can and cannot buy with YOUR money.
Point 7. Untrue, you just stated other use cases in your points above.

They have to set a limit. A limit is a limit. Ive ran an all-you-can eat restaurant in the past (don't go into this business LOL), and kids under 110CM were free. Countless times we had parents in outrage when their kids were higher than 110CM, but did not get to eat for free.
In the OP his case, make sure you always have space. A little extra saving money would save you from this trouble, even when the sterling drops like a stone. You can always combine savings and income.

Xenophobia at it's finest. Well done General. Luckily most, if not all, Thais know better.

"and... why would a waiter have a gun??"
In Thailand bar man, waiters all have guns. You didn't know that? And the question why would they have a gun? To shoot someone who is giving them problem. What else?
Sounds more like preparing a little koh tao move. At least partially, because the real CCTV leaked out luckily.

with the drop in value it could be prudent to find a gold shop that will exchange them. oh whats that, which gold shop ?
the day a gold shop in thailand exchanges digital currency for physical gold i will have a serious interest in bitcoin(s).... until then imho its a long con ponzi.Bitcoin is very liquid so what you're saying is already possible. And abroad even easier without having to cash back into fiat.
@op , if you have a Thai bank account: bx.in.th . Otherwise locally with localbitcoins.com

I think 'Thailand' should go about their arresting of foreigners and deporting them in a more tactful way.
You ever walked through the 'nothing to declare' part of an airport and suddenly felt uncomfortable and nervous, even though you know you've done nothing wrong and you really do have nothing to declare? Yea, that's the feeling some genuine tourists and expats may be feeling when seeing these kind of stories, etc.
I have the same feeling in any country. Don't think thats the issue. I just think that the priorities is non-exsistant in the Thai dictionary.

If, as you suggest, it was a murder, a rope and all the other paraphernalia would not have been needed from up there!
It is sad.
Sad indeed. Maybe a statement, I don't know. Im obviously speculating as well.

I'm also Norwegian and I do not agree with you at all. It looks more like a check list over how to take your own life.
Starting speculations this might be a murder based on only this note is just not right.
I have another theory. If you are going to hang yourself in full sight like this, you want attention. Then there HAS to be a letter explaining himself. There is not.

"...In all, the bill unlocks marijuana use for patients and doctors only,” Government Spokesman Puttipong Punnakanta said..."
And, no one has paid 150 Baht for a Doctor to provide a medical clearance form for a DL. No one. Seriously, no one at all. Nobody. Not ever.
"...There are, however, lingering concerns about whether the authorities will be able to efficiently control marijuana once it is allowed for patients to use at home..."
Those concerns are 100% correct. Once it is legalized for medicinal purposes, it will become widespread in Thai society. Therefore, it is a better policy to simply legalize it outright now, set reasonable controls on its purchase, and watch the tax money roll in.
It is a waste of time, money and effort to go through this, but I guess that decades of false, useless information is hard to overcome.
I wonder if future historians will cite this legalization debate as a classic example of human self-delusion and obstinate behaviour?
Hmm....
Let them take this route. It is the only route they would ever take besides keeping it completely banned. They will learn from experie.... oh this is Thailand ????
