What do you know to make you say that? Nothing that could be backed up, I suspect.
Please Google.

It still doesn't make him a good person. I feel for his family, but he is no legend and I hope people remember him for who he was and not what kind of nice gestures he made. This is very Thai.

Duty-free goods can involve many scams and bribes (some stuff is Chinese A+++ copies). He bought the club for a song, but his trading as King Power made him a multibillionaire. His high social status and his connections with the highest, meant that he had wrapped-up the whole duty-free scam in Thailand for the past 30 years. But he was also kind to his fans at LC, giving out free hot drinks and scarves to thousands.
Im glad that at least one person here understands this.

Really? He is one of the most corrupt people in Thailand. I do wish him well though.

Why so much secrecy about who was on the board?
Isn't that obvious? They will announce tomorrow afternoon after the markets openend and people in the know dumped or bought the stocks. TiT after all.

Yes, it is true.
I know of two cases where foreigners have complained about noise and a few days later the immigration turned up. One of them was forced to leave the country. Not sure why though.
Imagine having a kid and family here, or being the care taker of a Thai.

Funny....all the similar financial guru's kissing the BitCoin today, were perhaps the same who never saw the 2007 - 2011 global financial crash at that era....
No, they are the ones that are going to be burned when all comes crashing down again. And it will happen. For the first time there will be another great hedge besides gold, called Bitcoin.

Is that so? This year were in a full blown bear market/crash, what do you expect the answer will be to your question?

OK, he was clearly referring to Bitcoin so let's not play games. The charts are quite similar...almost identical...as are the losses since those highs. They both hit ridiculously high prices last December and have been decimated ever since. His point was made and easily applicable to BCH as well, yet the deflections and denials continue ad nauseam. BCH reached a high of nearly $4000 USD last December and is now about $530 USD. A DRUMMING for both, but actually much worse for Bitcoin Cash as it is down nearly 85% from the all-time high, while Bitcoin in only down a mere 70% thereabouts.
BCH chart...
BTC chart...
With your logic BTC was was 50k$+ in dec/jan.
I wonder if you're still replying here during the next bull run. I doubt it. These cycles happen since the very beginning of bitcoin in 2009. Some bearmarkets/crashes have even been more severe than this year.
Since you think this time will be magically different, there's probably no point discussing.

The bottom is ZERO...so isn't anywhere near 'bottomed out'. To be crystal clear...I'm not offering up advice, nor calling for it going to $0. Though certainly not calling its current level 'the bottom', as you seem to have done. Plenty of room between its current level and $0 to find plenty more bottoms.
Stated this many times on the Crypto threads...the trend line is down and has been all year, with lower highs on the bounces and lower lows on the trounces. My opinion is that it will continue its merry way down...to the chagrin of many.
Clear enuff 4 ya now?
You have been bashing crypto in general in basically all crypto topics. No point going into discussion. Of course it will have lower highs. We will never get a trend reversal otherwise.

TBH, do not ask for crypto advise on this forum. For starters, there are many people that make it their day job to tell everyone to run for the hills, secondly, you will not get the brightest answers.
Check out NEXO, sec complaint security with approx. 60m$ loaned out already.

Here's a telling chart for ya. Buying Op or just continue on it's way further down to a normal and realistic level? That is up 2 u to decide.
Previously these Crypto threads got a lot of positive play, but nowadays not so much. Actually not at all. Speaks volumes...both the chart and the crickets.
What exactly do you want to say? The market obviously bottomed out.

Have been reading the Thai Facebook comments, and shockingly (or not) the majority there find it more important to openly complain about Chinese and Indians stealing their jobs.

If you are paying this kind of money, 500,000 Baht, for an Elite Card, Thailand Elite should clearly explain these matters to you and assist if there is a snafu. I read you copy and paste of the message from Thailand Elite Customer Contact Center, and it manages to both be alarming and virtually incomprehensible. I don't see the value of the Elite Card if they can't communicate the requirements to their customers in clear and comprehensible English. I have never understood what value Thailand Elite provides to foreigners. It seems to simply confuse matters and cause unnecessary and often serious legal problems. Why pay 500,000 Baht for that kind of grief?
They do communicate this very clearly. I speak from experience. You either get an extension at the Bangkok Immigration after one year or leave and return the country.

I have had a safety deposit box at Kasikorn Pattaya Thai for over 20 years. This is safe.
Why would you entrust your valuables to some private company who could possibly go out of business, or heaven forbid be one of our 'fly by night' companies.
In my opinion just asking for worry.
'just to clarify that I do not know anything about Siam Secure, or any other private safety box company, but I am just giving my opinion on the stupidity of trusting your life's valuables to a private company'.
You are as much "insured" at the bank as you are at Siam Secure. The idea that your money or valuables are safe in/at a bank is disputable.

Legally you may be correct, but not in practice. Otherwise all farangs would be banned from buying tools in hardware stores without a work permit to prove can use them legally.
I rewired 2 houses, and no police came to arrest me, but they were family houses. I even did plumbing on the houses the family rents. No one arrested me, but I wasn't advertising to do same for strangers.
You could be murdering someone and no police comes to arrest you. Hardly an argument haha.

Definately go for Siam Secure. The only real professional place in Pattaya.

That is absolutely fine.. you aren’t painting someone else’s house.. it’s registered in your name now.. I do all my lawn work, wash car regularly, paint house when it is soiled by birds and even some electric work.. I never had any problems... I don’t think honestly anyone would report you for that ... you can’t do any work in a commercial area like market or public place for earning money..
Untrue. Legally, you cant even paint your own house. Please do not state opinions as facts.

Oh my god... Yes I can judge. If you read up about it, there many pending court cases, and especially because him being connected and corrupt, he never got convicted.
