  1. A few months ago we have paid a deposit for a little less than 7 rai in Pattaya. In a few months we'll be paying the outstanding balance and transfer. Normally we deal with the law firm Magna Carta in Pattaya, however they refuse to deliver nominees now. Today we've called Siam Legal and they are telling us the same. Regarding to them since a few months theres a new division in Pattaya that makes this almost impossible now. Using my wife, wifes family or one of the few Thai people I know as a shareholder is no option for us. I don't want to involve my wife in any business I do and my wife, wifes family or the few thai people I know I wont trust with a land plot that has a value of half a million euros.

Our plan is to build a small village with around 20 houses on it. A fair amount will be available to buy and the rest we'll be renting out.

Are there any other options? I would very much like to go the company route as it seems the best way to go in our situation and with our plans. I just absolutely don't want to deal with a small, shady law firm.

  2. @GirlDrinkDrunk, Im sorry, English is not my first language so sometimes Im having a hard time finding the correct words or grammar.

Like this. I believe all of this is Thailand, mostly Pattaya (Silk road and the new project opposite the Cartoon Network Water park in Na jomtien-Bang Saray)

  3. Hi boardmembers,

I am wondering if there is any way of marriage without community of property like there is for example in The Netherlands. My "wife" has no problem with signing anything like this before the registration of our marriage. For now a prenuptal agreement seems the only option, the problem is that I bought a lot of condo units off plan , and transfers will happen within 1 to 4 years from now. The last option is to change the name on the contracts to my brothers name who is also living here, only i hope someone here has a better solution. I would lose some TT3 this way and ofcourse its just not the ideal way.
