I had something similar, total rebuild and the kitchen lights had a flicker. My builder and the electrician decided to put the led strip light onto it's own switch (basically on/off) which is not dim-able unlike the ceiling lights. I also changed from a white light to a warm light at the same time. No more flicker.

Not sure which bank your with, but on the SCB app you can block online transactions and just unblock them when you want to make an online purchase.

You could try going to Hafale and asking the manager Charlie for a recommendation, he deals with some farang builders.

Hi,
I know you didn't ask but I just tried the linked cream yesterday for the first time and already I'm seeing positive changes, I've had skin issues for years, I'm impressed, you may be interested in trying it. Lots of positive reviews on the makers Australian site for both eczema and psoriasis.
https://sunshinemarket.co.th/product/eczema-psoriasis-cream-with-marshmallow-elderberry-more/ Thai place I got it from. 565 baht.

I have no idea what that photo is of, but the article is about an Airbus A220 flight, which is a single aisle aircraft.

Didn't notice, so plus 1 for Pimmy.

The Chinese Takeaway - By Pimmy is good, you have to order on Facebook and they deliver. Has 5 stars on facebook. They market the food as UK style Chinese takeaway, lots of pictures on FB. You need to plan ahead as it won't be at your door in 30 minutes.

As the saying use to go "if it only saves you once a year it a Goodyear."
I agree the Dunlops are crap, I don't recall exactly why but I also got rid of IRC's.
I've had the Pirelli Diablo's and really liked them, I currently have the Michelin City Grip 2's and also really like them. If I had to choose one, I think the Michelin's. The contoured surface makes leaning into turns feel more natural and the grip is outstanding wet or dry.

OP: Some years ago I moved from Caboolture to Pattaya. Cannot remember the Oz removalist, but the Thai end was handled by Asian Tigers so give them a call / email to see who they now use in Brisbane; URL below. The service was door to door, no problems whatsoever.
I used Asian Tigers in a move from Singapore to Pattaya, they were very good. I had office furniture, lounge suite, large TV etc..... I don't know about cost as my employer paid, but I do recall tax on the Thai end was minimal. They were a professional team, that was in 2014.

I don't know specifically about Brie but Dom's Pizza on Pratumnak Soi 5 has a deli section. I was getting some Blue cheese they sold from Chang Mai (I think) made from organic goats milk. They were ordering fresh weekly but they had a decent range of quality cheese. Worth a look if your passing.

At SCB I can send baht 50,000 at a time on my windows pc, using the android phone app I can send 1 or 2 million depending on what limit I set in the app. Ive recently sent 1 million twice with no issue to another Thai bank account.

I use to have a Philips like the one pictured on the first page, it's probably at the small end in terms of size. A few months ago I got a bigger Philips Air fryer model HD9270/91 (6.2l). It's on Lazada from about 3,400 baht.
In my opinion it's much much better than my old smaller one which was maybe 5 years old. It just cooks stuff better, probably due the better airflow with the bigger basket. It's got a bunch of presets but basically just use the temp and timer.
I subscribe to a consumer magazine in Australia that test all sorts of everyday home appliances and this was rated very highly, not the best one but maybe 3rd best and for me was the best value for money.

This fire was a bit more impressive than the photo provided. The transformer blew up twice about 30 minutes apart (around 9-10pm), both sounded like a bomb with massive white flash. The road was closed until about 4am and the PEA guys had a load of trucks and equipment, flood lights etc turning night into day.
The road was not passable so a road was formed through the vacant plot as it's the only access in and out of Cosy beach area.

Maybe you could come with international drivers license and just convert to a 2 year" I'm not sure but you could message an agent.
I've done the license myself 2 times, last week used an agent for the first time. The process was no booking visit needed, agent arranged certificate of residence, Dr's certificate, transport, paperwork etc. All I had to do was provide 2 photo's (2 licenses) sign some documents and do a colour test at the DLT. (no reflex / depth perception test)
Departed central Pattaya 9am back just after 1pm. You could drive yourself and leave when you've got your license that would be quicker.
For 2 licenses all fee's charges certificates + Dr's 6,500 baht. There was a fee in that amount of 1,000 for a process requiring no booking visit. I could have done it for 5,500 but I would have had to make a booking visit.

The current global volatility suggests this gentleman is correct. Economic forecasting bodies rarely price in the potential for black swan events and simply change the figures only when they occurThe IMF is headed by Bulgarian economist Kristalina Georgieva, the criminal Lagarde is now running the ECB, since about 2019.
Agree with your view, in fact I think your being a bit kind. The rosie forecasts are all a confidence game, if the world is going to <deleted> they won't tell you until they've bailed everyone out using our money.

The linked article says he killed three but only fired two shots. Typical Thai reporting, or did he kill two with one bullet? The latter would be unusual, the former less so.
He used a shotgun, so it's possible he hit two of the kids with one round. Very sad.

Here's a link to the 3 year Thai Baht gold price. It's up about 50% over that time. This article is pure Real Estate propaganda. Gold Price in Thai Baht (ycharts.com)

Iv'e got a Berkey water filter, stainless steel 8.5l tank. They are very highly rated if you browse the web. Filter lasts 10 years they come in different sizes, mine cost 14,500 baht and would recommend the stainless steel tap accessory. Worth a look I couldn't be happier with it and extremely convenient.

I've been getting mail from Sydney and Perth in 2-3 weeks.
I have also twice requested Westpac to resend a renewed credit card in the last 12 months and both are MIA.

Not in Pattaya now but back in the day Cafe des Amis would be my choice. I've seen little to suggest that it still isn't one of the best places in town.
I'd 2nd Cafe des Amis, the food there is always excellent. I've been told the Christmas lunch's are great but usually sold out well before Christmas. This year you could be in luck.
Big red bus still going ?
