SCB on Beach Road just before walking street is good, has it's own off street parking and usually not very busy. It's a long time since I opened an account so not sure on ease.

Warburtons crumpets and muffins are available at Villa Market in the Avenue on 2nd road. . They also have Warburtons sliced bread from time to time. Usually in the lone freezer near the fruit and veg section.

Where I go there is a visa shop right outside the immigration office. I asked this year via email how much (just to avoid covid crowds) I have the 800K and all the legit documents.

8,000 baht all up.  I decided just to do it myself as usual, the process is quick and efficient, especially with the reduced numbers in town.  

Leaving your car at the airport multi story is very convenient and not expensive by world standards. 

Did you consider contacting the hotel and see if you can leave it there?  That way as soon as your out of Q you can just jump in your car.  

If you selling or giving away your phone, do a full factory reset. Just "deleted is not completely deleted the data is still there and can be restored with the proper tools.

If you decide to take the plunge, I'd suggest a couple of things.

Before you leave find a real estate agent, in the future you may want to rent / sell your house so having someone you know will make it easier to do from Thailand. I sold my house while living in Singapore and it was hassle free.

Don't ditch your health cover, suspend it.  Your probably aware, but (at least when I did it) my health fund categorised me as "non active" for 2 years, so if I returned to Australia I could rejoin and not have waiting periods etc.  Costs you nothing but well worth it if you decide you don't like it here and return to Oz.

If you live in Thailand your main Australian residence will only be tax free if you sell it for 7 years, so if you keep your house more than 7 years you'll have capital gains tax to pay.

Get some tax advice. In my case my accountant informed the ATO that this would be my last tax return and I would be a non resident for tax purposes. My bank accounts automatically take 10% tax from interest. Any capital gains I make in the stock market are tax free.  Housing / rent is taxable even as a non resident.

Things may have changed.  I retired at 50 and have been here 8 years, so best to check. 

Immigration lost mine, when I noticed I went back (Jomtien office) they looked it up on the computer and wrote the number in my passport.  I then filled out a new TM6, had no issues when I next departed. 

You may get better advice if you mention what country, your from. Perhaps the tax code can be interpreted differently or by using a tax professional. 

In Australia you can sell your personal residence up to 7 years after you've moved out without any tax implications. After that you will be taxed some capital gains.

I'm in Pattaya, 3BB installed fiber from the street to the 20th floor. 6,500 baht a couple of years ago, took about an hour.  So price guide is likely something upwards of that.

3BB have a 1000/300 for 590 per month.

I switched from a 1000/1000 at 1,200 baht per month to this plan a year ago.  I can't tell the difference between the old plan and the cheaper one.  I'm in Pattaya so can't speak for Bangkok.

The Seychelles is the most vaccinated country in the world with 60%, according to this article they have more new cases on a per capita bases than India. They used AZ and Sinopharm vaccine's.  

Thailand I think will have continuing lockdowns / restrictions until the large majority of the country is vaccinated.

F1 Sky coverage in the US is on ESPN 2.  I find Sky UK streams at 30 FPS and ESPN 2 at 60 FPS.  IPTV is the way to go, there are some good providers out there, finding them can be a bit hit or miss.  For about 25/30 pounds you can get a yearly subscription that will satisfy all your motorsports needs.
