That trail uses / cross's the lookout road. I'd suggest you ride along that road from the eastern side and look for the stairs the rider goes up on both sides of the road. Looks like it starts somewhere down near the half built Waterfront tower condo complex.
The entrance is on the left before you get to the Tourist Police Building heading down hill towards Bali Hai.

I assume it's still the same, when I got an Amazon Echo Dot about 6 months ago I was also able to get the Spotify Premium for 139 Baht per month. The Echo Dots are on Lazada for about 1,300 baht. Sounds pretty good to.

I doubt you had 35 days overstay taken so lightly. If you mean you failed to do a 90 day report for 35 days, that is not actually overstay. The 90 day clock only resets for the first extension, not a renewal.... nice of Jomtien to waive the fine.
Yes, thats what I mean't, wrong terminology on my part.

I got a new passport, then transferred all my visa stuff over to the new passport and then got an new 12 month retirement visa in September. When I went to Jomtien immigration in December the IO told me I was 35 days overstay.
I guess I was thinking the new retirement visa reset my 90 days reporting, I just didn't think about it. Anyway, the IO understood how it happened, explained to me the rule and waived the fine. I generally find Jomtien to be good, but I was surprised by the no fine.

Happened to me a couple of weeks ago when immigration transferred my current visa's to a new passport. Got home a realised no TM6. Went back a day or 2 later and they hand wrote my exisiting (lost) TM6 number above my visa. I asked any problem at the airport, they said no, all they need is the number.

Corner 3rd road and Soi Lengkee has a big shop, plenty of accessories there, also have mechanics on site to fit. Sometimes the service in the shop can be a bit uninterested.

I should have mentioned, this was about 8.45am.

OK, to share my experience today, I am on a retirement visa with an Australian (NSW) license. So I'm converting a current Australian license to a new Thai License
Went to Immigration and got 2 letters of residence as I need car and bike license. In and out 25 minutes
Went to Doctor and got certificate x 2. 5 minutes
Copied IDL, NSW License, Passport name page and visa pages dont think I needed the IDL as they handed the copy back to me.
Completed Drivers license application for x 2 from Internet
At the LTO office you need to take a number from the machine that's at the foot of the stars then wait for the number to come up on the screen them proceed upstairs. If you go up before your number is called they send you back down to wait.
Once upstairs they checked my documents, took my original Australian drivers license and my passport, asked me to print name and phone number on a Thai language form. Gave me a number and sat inside, they told the girlfriend to wait downstairs.
Once inside, called up for reflex, depth perception and colour tests, takes all of 1 minute, sit back down again, wait for lady to call my name, name called, go pay 360 baht, wait for photo, name called take picture, wait about 2 minutes collect license then on my way. License for both car and bike are valid for 2 years.
All in all I was in and out in about an hour, most of that waiting for the photo. I would have struggled a bit if I didn't have a Thai with me, but it's easy enough if you know the process. Thought this may help as I checked this forum previously for help on the process. Cheers -
Silverlake winery is importing grapes from South Australia, and their wines are being made with a wine maker from South Australia. I understand the Rose is about ready to go and other reds and whites will follow soon (next 1-9 months depending on wine type). The expectation from the wine maker whom I've spoken with is it should be top quality, and of a high international standard. I know nothing about wines or wine making ............ but very happy to drink it !!

Hi,
was hoping someone had recently been out to get a new drivers license in Pattaya. I'm being told I should get there about 6am as they only process a limited number of people everyday. I have an IDP but need to get my first 1 year Thai license. Has anyone been out to get their 1 year license recently and is it a complete shit fight or not as bad as I've been told. Any insights greatly appreciated for the Pattaya brance. Cheers

A couple of days ago I watched 4 or 5 micro light flying wing things flying along the coast from Jomtien to Pattaya beach. It was early afternoon from memory, could well have been these guys heading back. Was impressive to see them about 100 metres off the coast maybe 50 metres high at the time.

Sorry, of course I mean Cathay Pacific, bloody spellchecker.

Cathy Pacific will not allow anyone on a flight if the credit card holder is not with the pax or unless the credit card holder has been to a Cathy office and presented the card in person and confirmed they purchased the ticket. I have been through this several times with Cathy and had to go to their office overseas.
Bangkok airways accepted a letter and copy of the card about 10 months ago.

I have 2 passports and immigration asked me about it when entering one time. No drama it was just a question, do you also have a xx passport, I said yes and that was it. I've used both to enter / exit Thailand but now only use my passport with the Thai visa in it.
