Monday, 3 Feb 6am in CM...where will U B? I need to watch so plz all, list the pubs and bars of CM where this outstanding sporting event will be shown.
And if need to make down payment or reservation to get in the door.
The PUB was once a good place for this show, but sadly no more. I'm hoping to hear about MadDog, GekkoGarden, UN Irish, OMalleys, etc. and all others, in town or in the countryside.
Forget about the Virus and enjoy the game, the Adverts, the half-time show (nip-slip this year?) and camaraderie of fellow gridiron lovers.
TOMORROW MORNING!!

When i go out and the reading is above 150, i wear two N95 masks. Reminds me once in china, the girl asked me to use two condoms...hey, off topic.

Olive Grove made in Australia, ain't it? Uses palm oil, right? A modern synthetic 'food' full of chemicals, eh?
Guess i will stay with butter, but cut back to 1 kg per year. No problems with that.

Are you sick now? Need some kind of check-up? How old are you?
Lanna, Nakornping, San Sai = all good hospitals without going into city. Only Lanna is private, public a bit cheaper but may be slower treatment.

Took a drive last Friday from CM to 60km south on Hiway 11. Returning about 7 pm and could see numerous forest fires snaking up the hills and plenty of smoke. Asked about this and was told 'no money for personnel to combat either the fires nor the fire starters'. Who would prosecute the fire setters: police, army, forest rangers? Who would fight the fires: army, local fire dept, national air defense team?
And i also have heard that the fires do some folks some good as they can harvest mushrooms which pop up after the burn. Few houses are threatened so demand to fight is low.
It's all about $$$$$$$$$$$ !!!

Is someone here saying the ownership of local land remains unknown? True that many 'owners' have bogus companies just to hide their names but if my local friend bought a property, i could not go to the Provincial Land Office and learn this fact?
In the USA we can investigate the Property Title and find out 'who' owns the land.
Future plans for that land we cannot know.

I think Stubby is renting, not buying in San Sai, or anywhere. Many houses similar to what Stubby describes in San Sai renting at 6-10K baht per month.

Go for it guys~!! The people and farang of Thailand are counting on you to solve this hot problem.

I saw one condo in Sritana 2 offered for 3500 baht/month. Probably needs a 6 mo lease, min.
No smoking permitted in Sritana condo: what a blessing.

No need to show long term housing lease this year? I needed that 2019. It was total bull<deleted>e coz i could move out with one month's notice with no consequences.
But in T'land it is not only Immig that is confounded by outlandish rules, daily changes, discrepancies between offices, etc. The entire Thai govt operates the SAME way.

I like to pay cash at 7/11 for Air Asia flights. Non Air Asia need credit card, don't know about USA Debit card but might try next time.

I see a house for rent in a village without a gate. Looks to be a large house overlooking a rice field on a very quiet street. Thai friend says rent 8000 per month. I doubt you will find great luxury there.
Near The Green City Condo in San Sai Luang.

What i cannot understand is why Ventenio, and others, care at all about what i choose to do. He is much like the religious proselytizer who needs more converts in order to maintain his own beliefs, however right/wrong they may be.
Guys, if you don't like it here plz leave to a better place and let me live on these pages without your advice.
I don't tell folks not to smoke cigarettes but i do get away from them when they light up.

Have heard this rumor, and i hope it's 'fake news'.
Does anyone have up-to-date and accurate info on the imminent closing of the Thaniya Golf Plaza in Si Lom, Bangkok?
And if you have been there recently, are discounts offered on golf stuff at various shops? Of course i need new gear but can't find the top dollar so promos and closing-out sales are welcome.

Hard to believe rain in late December but folks here, near Kad Suan Kaew, certainly got wet and the road ways cleaned of dust.
The air around us has been purified with ozone and is now safe for all. Take a long walk and breath deeply.
Maybe climate change will do northern Thailand some real good if rains now occur every month and depress the forest and field burn-offs.

Just now read up on cardura. Lots of side effects, none good. Esp not advised in hot weather, so use caution in April.

Catlin, Kapur and Tangkamolprasert finish at -11 and after one playoff hole, 2 made bogey and Catlin made par.
A winner. Total purse US$300,000 so a nice payoff for the young American.
Congrats.

Pulling for a good finish by John Catlin. I watched this American win the CM Open in 2018 and was impressed by his play and demeanor. From what i know he is based in Bangkok and plays worldwide.

I am not interested in the relocation of the zoo. Plz don't address that well known fact.
What i do want to know is WHY the zoo was forced to close after 81 years at the same location and the zoo director would not say why the zoo closed.
What i have learnt is that perhaps some unseen and opaque Thai force remains in power and operates at will, with no regard for the desires, or needs, of the people.
Obviously some hidden reason exists, or we would know the truth.

Lanna is the place to go. Big driving range, probably clubs for hire at golf shops, certainly hire clubs offered at Green Fee desk, three 9 hole layouts, and generally not crowded in afternoon. Can take the bus up the highway only 3km from town.
For hackers, the very best.

Went to Bangkok for a holiday, even hoping to see the zoo. Found it closed since earlier in the year.
Have asked a few folks why the zoo closed and got no reasonable response. Most simply said 'zoo authorities closed the zoo, sent all the animals to various domestic zoos'.
I mean WHY DID THE AUTHORITIES CLOSE THE ZOO?
Can anyone answer or is this a secret?

The PuB? no white people go there now. but, up to you.

I keep my beans in a thermos of liquid nitrogen. When time to grind, those beans pulverize with ease. And fresh! Immaculate.

Well, if that news is correct, Hillkopf near the Mercedes has closed, then i'm going full time to Kasem shop for my coffee.
Must say i'm surprised as Hillkopf shop was v large with many coffee machines, grinders, makers, cups, filters...you name it. Would guess car parking a problem.
