While ดอง would mean to pickle it in vinegar.

So, in Thai "Fruit preserved in a liquid" can mean either in sugar solution or in vinegar, both is "liquid".

If you google ผลไม้แช่อิ่ม you will see lots of images of mostly fruits in sugar solution.

The temple fairs only happens 1 time a year on each temple. As far as I know, there are no fairs at any temple this time of the year. They've all been arranged earlier in the year.

There are however fairs which springs up here and there. They'll usually have street food, trinkets for sale and also a stage with live music.

Right now there is one in Chaweng on the ring road just before you arrive to Bangkok Hospital.

There's also Lamai night market every Sunday evening and Maenam walking street every Thursday evening. Much better and cheaper food in these markets.

They sure are getting more cunning and exploring many channels to find a sucker.

I recommend you to stay in Lamai downtown. Most things will be within 1km walking distance, such as beach, Tesco, restaurants etc.

Most properties are unable to accept reservations for only 1 month so far in the future yet.

This is because there may be somebody else who would rent it for longer term, so they must keep their options open. If they let you reserve it for only 1 month in January, and somebody else may wish to stay for longer such as 2-3 months, they may miss the opportunity. Only when the time nears, in December and if there are still available, they will be able to accept your reservation.

Looks like it was shot at Ban Tai beach in front of Mimosa. One can see KPG in the distant. The beaches around there are usually deserted. Don't think they would be able to keep the crowd away if they pulled that stunt in Chaweng.

At the Raja Lipa Noi pier, there will be minivan services which will take you anywhere on the island for 200 per pax. If it's late in the evening, after 6PM, I think the price increase to 250.

There will also be taxi, but only during the day, in the evening you'll only be greeted by the minivan mafia.
Taxi from Raja pier to Lamai, will probably be around 600.

I have never seen a song thiaw at Lipa Noi pier, and I don't think they go there. But it may be my eyes which are bad...

1 is like asking casually if one frequently goes to Krabi, while 2 one would like to know exact frequency how often you go to Krabi.

So answer to 1 would can be "ไปบ่อย" or even "ไม่เคยไปเลย" or "ไปเกือบทุกเดือน", but answer to 2 must be more specific such as "ไปเกือบทุกเดือน" or "ไปทุกอาทิตย์".

There is a slight distinction between question 1 and 2 in that 1, one may not even be sure if you have ever been to Krabi, but question 2, one already knows you do go to Krabi frequently and would like to know just how frequent you go there.

It was used in the title of that song only. Normally you would not use "hoo" to mean vagina at all.

Also for this particular song, the intended meaning is "khan hii" which means something like being horny (as in having an itch in your vagina), so "khan hoo" was used instead. One would have to say "khan hoo" in order for a Thai to think of "khan hii" instead. If you only said "hoo" a Thai would never ever associate it with "hii".

But as I said, normally people just say "khan hii" and never "khan hoo". It was used in that particular song only.
