  1. Just picked up my Alienware 17 laptop yesterday in KL- around 2700 US $ equivalent...Pricey but it is my first ever gaming machine and im in my 40s ha!. .

    - Dell Alienware 17 A17FHD-80173G-W8 Gaming 17.3" Laptop

    - Intel® Core i7-4800MQ-2.7GHz

    - 16GB DDR3 RAM, 750GB SATA HDD + 64GB mSATA SSD

    - NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 770M

    - Genuine Windows® 8 64-bit

Amazing HD screen - looking forward to downloading rome total war 2 , civ 5, and some others on steam.

Also has windows 8- which i have heard very bad things about, but i found to be quite good!

70,000baht for that? damn that's too much.Unless of course you want to game on laptop

  2. Seemed cheap to me too but that's the price on their Facebook page (world games Korat) however most of it is written in Thai so it could be the deposit =], either way for the time being I'm happy with my current generation ps3 and 360 as I can play free downloaded games, stream films live tv etc.

Maybe i'm wrong but "world games Korat" on facebook actually tells the price in usa -500$=15k .In thailand is probably be 20k+

  3. I will probably go for a PS4 but ill wait until it comes down in price a bit, I haven't been sold on the Xbox one at all and I don't thinking the only one sonys preorders are outstripping Microsoft by a country mile. They made a massive cock up with the trade in, selling second hand games saga, I think they lost a lot of trust in gamers and showed their arrogance.

I have both Xbox 360 and PS3 and there are things I like about both, online is free on the psn but it won't be free with the ps4 or Xbox one.

Online was very good with Xbox live and I prefer the Xbox controller it has proper triggers for shooters kinect was great for kids games but not for real games, apart from forza 4, where being able to clip the apex of a corner was much easier when you looked into the turn. PS3 is great for playing games from a hard drive and I really like the operating system, much easier to tweak.

I've seen the Xbox one advertised for 15000 baht already here in korat, no doubt the PS4 will follow soon enough.

Seeing that Wii U here costs 14,000baht then 15k for xbox one is wishful thinking.

    Wii u 300$ - xbox one 500$

    Expect about 22k for x1 and 18k for ps4.

Seeing that consoles are running bf4 on 720p i will be going for pc next gen, 25k for i5 4570,gtx760 will last for 2-3 years on 1080p.

Plus kb&mouse and most importantly how much money i would save by buying/downloading cheaper games is my selling point(even if pc entry point is a bit pricey)

Seeing all single player games that will come in q4 2013/q1 2014 - pes14,f1,batman,assassins creed 4,ghosts,need for speed, watchdogs, evil within and about 20more i really don't want to spend 1500$+ on it.

  4. Althught it's looking nice,i think inline 4 engine is the only thing that this bike has that is better than er6n,which are price similar.

I presume kawasaki has better quality, service, dealership, proven quality of a bike, wider audience in SEA than Benelli.

Bn600 does have 8-10 hp more but that's not even noticeable,er6n would have better torque. Seems that most of the people who want to get bn600 are getting it only because of i4.Including me lolsmile.png

  5. Another very positive review.

There's no doubt that z800 is a great bike but what's sad is that z800 even when it's produced in Thailand it's still 25-30% more expensive than Z1000 in US.That sucks.

Z1000 cost there (11,000$)340,000฿,here 550k. Don't know when z800 will come there but price will probably be about 260,000฿.

260k vs 420k where the gasoline is 50% cheaper and salary 5 times higher. Now that's a comparison. Oh the humanitycheesy.gifsad.png

  6. Should be released in Australia very soon(Benelli facebook page says it should debut in October).Look forward for some reviews. If it's turns up to be a decent bike this could be big hit especially here where similar bikes are 200k more expensive(granted they probably have better quality/service). But so far bn600 looks great for me,2 exhausts under the rear seat(which i especially like),180mm rear tire,a bit more hp than er6n but a bit less torquerier,i4 engine. Only thing i worry is are any copy parts(brembo copy brakes?)and how is the quality.

  7. Get on Sukumvit going South and right after you go through the Ban Amphur watch for the signs that lead you to Khao Chi Chan, Silver Lake Winery, and Wat Yansangwararam. Turn left just after Road Marker 161 and you can make a circuit of that area. Plenty of hilly roads, tourist attractions, and scenery. Just explore and enjoy

    attachicon.gifloop.png

First time when bought big bike i was driving only around Pattaya i didn't know nothing after sukhumvit road. One day i went to "discover" other country roads nearby. After a week of searching(sometime forgeting how to come back) i discover that roads.Basically i went opposite sukhumvit, pass railroad and about 20 minutes more i discover the lake, the country roads, big temple, that buddha image on mountain, the winery.Never even heard of that, but after sometime i noticed that many riders like to come there to ride.Definitely great roads and scenery.

  8. Some of the parts on a swap wont work without modifications The tank wont just go in due to the double bar on the 2012-2013 ER6n . The side covers also wont just go on without serious mods as the holes for the bolts are no where to be seen on the 2009-2011) the rear hugger (custom or stock ) have different bolt ups . Not sure on the fairing. I have a 2011 & assessed it to be easier to just buy the 2012-2013 or the 2014 when it comes out.

Pui's bike looks nice! They do make some nice street fighter kits for the 09-11 years .

I just noticed there is a real nice 2012 black with some nice mods done in the bikes for sale for 230,000 in the Pattaya area advertised today. 8000 kilos on it.

    Good luck!

    i couldn't find it,have a link to the ad?

  9. Most of you are low balling the price. Keep in mind they are pensioning off the Z1000, a proven better bike. No big 'Z' and the price maybe higher than you think!

A proven better bike but also made in Japan, not Thailand, therefore much more expensive! And proven by who? The reviews I've read of the Z800 have been glowing and it has the added bonus of ABS too :-) If I had 550k to spend I'd get a Z800 instead of a Z1000 and use the other 100k+ to pimp it out smile.png

Sometimes when i'm eager to drive 1000cc or similiar with high end top speed i just look at this at then remind myself i'm riding on thai roads

Start from 3:21 (i've experienced it many times, glad that every time i didn't go more than 150km/h)

  10. just coming from kawa motoholic thon buri to check discounted z1000 as thinking about one due to its nice price.

    but all finished:(

then asked the price of z800, they said it will be released this month for sure and it will go for between 390,000 thb to 430,000 thb. they are not sure yet. hope it will be less than 400 k which is a good price for thailand.

and there is a waiting list already for it. 30 people signed for it as of today!

so be hurry if you want to receive one fast.

395,000thb would be ideal. But it's gonna be probably around 420,000.

Z800 is really visual masterpiece,at least for me.

just listen to that perfect sound

  11. it is a gorgeous bike, and for my money id rather have one than a honda 500, and more likely th er6n

i sat beside one at a set of lights in bangkok the other day, i was on my mountain bike and thought at first it was a tricked out er6m then the light changed, i heard the engine and i knew it wasnt

This benelli bike is fck gorgeous.Waiting years for some inline-4 naked middleweight with price similar to er6n. Most of others are 100-200.000 more expensive(z800). Er6n would be perfect bike for me if only would have i4 and not that tractor sound twin engine.

Will be waiting some reviews but dam_n 269k(for thailand) is a great price.

What happened to that guy JeffreyMcCollum from page 6 who out deposit 6 months ago?

its a nice bike until you get closer up and start looking at detail.. then i'm not so sure

Strange that even months after release of bn600/tnt600 there's NO SINGLE review of it other the some "review" of blogs who know only technical specs rather than actually ridden it.

  13. The the OP - Thailand/Thai girls image is unfortunately ruined by so many foreigners who come in red light district and then talk back home how all thai girls are the same. Just look and the youtube-thai girls. You can see it in so many comments. Many of them are men who came here, fell in love with a bar girl who destroyed his life and he's taking "revenge" on all thai girls.Seen many of that.

Especially in Pattaya- even if thai girl with rich parents and 500 million baht when you walk out on street most of the foreigners will think that she's a prostitute. It's like that unfortunately, thai image in the world isn't so good but in reality things are really different and people do generalize to much.

Nobody is forcing someone to get marry or similar, everyone can choose his path. If someone wants to marry a prostitute or a poor girl in Isaan and then complain that you have to take care baby/family, well you should have thought about that first. She is working a bar because of that.

There are so many good,non-money grabbing thai girls out there.

I met mine in Pattaya, she had bar girls as a friend but she never worked in a bar or similar. When i came to stay here with her i had no money(came with only 100.000baht),no work.Nothing.Only she worked after i came. But difference is that she stay for love, not money. Her family isn't rich but isn't poor either. In 6years she never sent just 1 baht to her family(she only buy small things like shirt or similar when visiting).

So..you shouldn't care what what people think. Many foreigners think that all thai girls are same which is ridiculous. Many of them know only bar girl types of thai girls. Truth is someone who marry a bar girl have to be smart to know once you're married with that type of girl you have to use your wallet on order to keep the marriage.

That girls who are working in bars are not working solely for fun. It's all about money. If you don't have money she won't stay with you.

Little off-topic but maybe i answered some of your questions.rolleyes.gif

  14. I've pre-ordered an Xbox One here in the UK. Xbox Live is at the top of pile even at £40 subscription per annum.

Needless to say, I won't be moving to PS anytime soon.

If you're playing online i recommend ps4 as there are bit more ps3 players than xbox. I presume with ps4 things would not change much.Hell i even think playstation 4 playerbase will even increase compared to xbox.
