  1. Hey

For Test & Go they recommend that you book your day 1 and day 5 directly with the hotel and it must include payment for airport pickup and 2 RT-PCR test fees. But on Agoda, where you can show hotels for Thailand pass/Test & Go, how do I know which ones includes RT-PCR tests and Airport pickup? Many of them advertise Test & Go but I see no information about the RT-PCR tests and airport pickup being included or an option to add them.

  2. Hey

How likely do you think it is that a vaccine passport will be required to enter places such as bars and nightclubs once they fully open? Several other countries have introduced this for all nightlife venues, shopping malls and some even for workplaces etc.

The Thai government haven't said anything about this yet but it seems unlikely they'll introduce this given that they still welcome unvaccinated tourists and overall don't have any restrictions for unvaccinated people (besides quarantine for tourist arrivals). On the other hand, Thais are very favorable of the vaccine and they'll be able to vaccinate 80%+ of the population so introducing something like this probably wouldn't cause much dismay among the Thai people so the government might as well just do it.

    What do you think?

Second box previously was the go to box for most.

There are couple of immigration offices now asking for actual letter (email) from embassy stating no letter issued.

    Current example is Hua Hin.

Another office to place on my rubbish list.

Which office are you dealing with?

I see. I'm dealing with Chaeng Wattana.

The docs are the usual photocopies of pp pages.

Identity page tm6 last entry stamp most recent visa or extension stamp.

    TM7 with photo.

    May require TM30.

Affidavit. They will provide that.. Tick second box.

You will receive approval or otherwise on the spot.

You have a non O ? Be prepared to answer why your not obtaining extension to your non O.

At CW there is print photocopy picture stall lower level if you overlook anything.

Thank you! About the affidavit, are you supposed to tick both the first box with: "... pandemic situation of COVID-19 is still ongoing"?

And the second box with "The embassy / consulate is unable to issue the letter of confirmation and request for a temporary stay".

Or is only the second box enough?

Thank you! With a non-imm O visa, do you know if I should go to the Muang Thong Thani or Chaeng Wattana immigration office?

  6. Hi

I’m in Thailand on a 1 year marriage extension and in 7 weeks I need to extend it by another year. I just realized that my bank account balance has gone below 400K THB to 240K THB. I'm thinking this is a problem because I need to have 400K+ THB for 2 months before I apply for the extension. I have no income so I can’t use the income rule.

I’m in Bangkok. Will they deny the visa extension because I’ve only had 400K+ THB for 7 weeks and not for 8 weeks as required?

If yes, is there a way to solve this? I’ve already used my 30 or 60 day extension last year as well as the COVID extension they had so I guess I can’t use any of those again.

    Thank you.

  7. Hey

When I moved here some time ago TrueMove was only able to offer me a "prepaid" phone plan that I need to refill monthly. To get their postpaid/monthly plans I needed to show a work permit which I don't have. I'm staying in Thailand on a non-imm marriage visa. They said all telecom companies had this rule but I've since heard otherwise. I'd like to get a postpaid/monthly plan instead as it's more convenient, better plans and you can keep your number if you lose your SIM.

Which telecom company offers postpaid/monthly plans to foreigners who doesn't work here?

    Thanks.

  8. Hey

First they announced that there will be COVID passports from 1 Oct. Then I saw some news that they scrapped it because the restaurant industry didn't like it. Will COVID passports be required to enter some venues in Bangkok from 1 Oct? If so, for which venues do you need one?

    Thanks.

You will do it at the Muang Thong Thani office.

You passport and a completed TM47 form should be all that is needed.

If you may need a TM30 form submitted if you have not registered at Bangkok immigrant already.

Thank you. Do you know if this temporary location is still in use? They sent me here last time.
Immigration 90 day report (If the link below doesn’t work then this is the title of the location on Google Maps)

You can still be up to 7 days late without any consequences?
