it suggests that the actual usb port used matters it may be trying to use /dev/ttyUSB0 but plugged into another port

Yeah, insurance, hows them nappies going? nanny/maid ? Doctors costs for that baby over last 12 months, car rego and insurance, repairs, services....and the list goes on

Nappies and baby stuff is fine. Twice weekly shopping averages 2k a go and includes all the little one needs.

So what are you saying meatboy, did the hot curry food helped or a bowl of ice cold water? I didn't try soaking my bum in ice cold water (soaking in warm water helps ease the pain and discomfort), but eating hot spicy food making things worse I'm sure, for me anyway.
