Was much easier this time and got mine within a day .Had to supply wife’s ID card,as in staying at her house ,as an additional document after submitting

My main reason for this idea is that I can maintain a uk residence so won’t have any bank account issues and I will also receive,a few years ahead,the state pension increases .It also takes away the issue of opening a Thai bank account with all the current issues -
If I wanted to split my time between the uk and Thailand and used the non o marriage visa .Can I use a non o for say 90 days and return to uk then maybe a few months later return on another non o .Are there any rules stopping multiple non o visas

When I done this about 10 years ago my biggest issue was the English test .All the test centres seemed to only offer tests at a far higher standard then was required and I couldn’t find one that just did the A1 test .Eventually after fairly twice we did the test in the uk ( on tourist visa) -

I didn’t start the money transfer conversation it was others joining in and changing the topic .All I asked was are there agents in Pathum Thani and I now know there is and I can use one to open an account -

Strange because they charged me £9 for small amounts and about 20 for large sums -

Thanks for the local information.I haven’t got a non o yet but just want to make sure that I don’t leave uk and find out I can’t get a bank account and therefore an extension ps my pension will be too low -

Sorry I misread it as a maximum of 50 k not a minimum -

I suppose it will be an issue transferring 800000 bt if max is 50000 a day but still probably save best part of £1000k by using wise as opposed to a traditional bank
