I've never flown on one of these but they are supposed to have a 34inch economy seat making really comfortable for long-haul. With the recent announcement of the dropping of the LHR flights TG916/917 it looks like a major push to reduce losses which are running at about $1 million a day. No mention of staff redundancies yet.

Yes, and infact my wife has received notification of when her pension will start and about her NI contibutions. The NI number is the all important asset for anything to do with state payments. Although I should add that we are UK resident atm.

If you have a NI number you should be able to get one. My wife has one as she has a NI number. There have been reports of some problems in Spain, last year I think, with treatment being refused but that may be history now.

The noise levels in some BKK hotels is going to be unbearable. These tour group flights always seem to arrive in the early hours and the noise they make when they arrive at 4 or 5 am in the hotel is something else.
