Phra Maha Sompong is a well-known preacher who is also noted for his satirical political overtones. The Sangha Supreme Council judged him guilty of expressing political opinions earlier in May.
Phra Maha Paiwan is recognized as a liberal monk who has criticized the SSC for attempting to monopolize religious teachings in Thailand and to repress the right of individuals to interpret by themselves.
Probably the real reason why they are being shut down

I know, the argument is that if your asymptomatic you could spread the virus. The same applies to Dengue. So should we all get periodic Dengue tests 'just to be safe?'
???? No.Is dengue transmissable?

Depends if you want to do natural birth or csection. For natural birth I would go to the government hospital in the centre of chiang rai, providing you speak some thai they have a natural birthing course you can enrol in for free and then you only pay a couple of thousand for the VIP room for recovery.
For private I would go to Sriburin hospital. We paid around 60k with 3 nights in hospital. Very professional and helpful, if there are complications and are afraid of the bill you can always tell them and move to the government hospital.
But first of I highly recommend you go to Kultali clinic. She will be able to tell you all these things, the costs and specifics. She speaks extremely good English and will do all the check ups and the delivery of the baby at hospital of choice.
Good luck

To travel without sufficient economy is always a risk. Not only during a pandemic. That is something people have very hard to get their head around. If you do not have a minimum of 4 - 5k left after travelling your should stay home and work instead. And that is a bare minimum! Idiots!
Rubbish, you know how little people have savings of that amount. Does that mean they should always stay home? I didnt have those savings until well in my twenties but have been travelling since 18. No regrets, even if hit some tough times with low cash.
If I were them I would fly to Europe and stay in hostel for two weeks then get back. Things will probably get worse before better here.

I've now had one AZ and two Pfizer, and though massage in LOS has always been a main attraction, I think even if the numbers were to drop, I don't think I will be able to bring myself to start that again for a very long time-
If you're fully vaccinated why would you not go. What are you waiting for a 4th vaccination.
Genuinely curious.

Could the font size be back to what it was during the thaivisa newsletter?
This font size is very tiring while reading, if the newsletter arrives that is.

It is not 'dropping fast', just look at the chart. Once the Delta variant become the dominant variant in UK, the cases will rise again in UK.
Just look at the deaths, the cases are not important as they dont lead to hospitalisation and death due to vaccinations.

Having lived in this area for a few years now ,I can say they are not thousands of macaques in Lopburi ,a few hundred yes .
And why is it when you read something you know about it is often wrong.
Just looking at the video it is at least 1000 when the camera pans to the left and you can see them sitting on the fence.

You state tax payments of the company, is this your business can I ask. Just curious as to why they would need the tax records of the business not me as an individual if I am just an employee with a work permit.
Just wondering if there are slightly different requirements for business owners as opposed to pure employees. I will do to ask of course as per your suggestion.
Thanks
It it the company of my wife. I had a feeling they were being intentionally difficult to make me change and go with 400k as a parent of a thai, they even offered to not season the money and I could take it straight out again.
However I think I need this for residency so just stuck through it.
Best of luck

I did it last month in Chiang rai for my third year, second extension. I had to come back a record of 4 times. And every time they really push to switch to the money in the bank method.
Off the top of my head these were the things required:
Your personal tax statement precious year
Your insurance payments (prakan sang kom) past three months
Work permit copies all pages
Passport copies all pages
Original certified company registration papers no older than 3 months
Wife's id card
Wife's house book with all individual inhabitants with her Id card copy on it
Map to the house
Copy of the birth certificate of my son
Company contract
Tax payments of the company
Pictures of us in the house
I'm sure I'm still missing something stupid.
All this in two fold, even the certified company papers.
I had a paper package of 100+ pages
All this needs to be signed there and company papers stamped.
They said next year they would need more papers.
I suggest you start by just going there with what you have and ask them what is missing and take it from there. It is a lot of work for them, so they will not like it in my experience.
Good luck, and stay calm. When something is missing smile and ask them to write it down then you give that to your accountant, come back and repeat.
