You might wanna try this first:
https://macpaw.com/how-to/keyboard-trackpad-not-working
If you scroll about half way down it will show you some software things to try to get trackpad AND keyboard working again. Maybe try that first before possibly replacing it all because the cables are connected properly ????

Looks very interesting. Will definitely have a closer look ( aka research ) Nexo a bit more.

Also people here do not tend to list their properties for rent online...probably too much work to take and upload pictures and write a brief text ;). It goes a lot by hearsay. Drive around the city and you will see for rent signs. But contacting Ubonhomes would be already a step in the right direction. The only foreign ( and probably english speaking ) realtor in Ubon.
Moobans ( or any other Thai business for that matter ) aren't very helpful in responding to E-Mails if at all.
Some nice ones were mentioned above, but they also have several of them and the older ones aren't so nice anymore.
For Metrotown you'd want to look for: Metrotown 7
For Sarin you'd want to look at 9, 10, 11, Sarin Living, Sarin Residence....and I think they are building a 12 now.The River....they "only" have that one Mooban
Ubon has 5 Supalai's. They aren't named by numbers though. I just know of Supalai Bella and Supalai Moda. I don't know the other 3 names.

The Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel has Beyond Burgers at 750++ baht each, and Beyond Sausage Rolls at 450++ baht each.
Do they have regular burgers and sausage rolls? To do an actual price comparison.
Yes, 750 for a Beyond Burger seems quite expensive, but if their "normal" burger is in that price range too, then i would assume they charge for service, ambiance, location etc.
But if they have normal burgers at 200-400 baht, I would have no explanation why they Beyond Burger is 750

You may want to contact @Michael Hare, He is the Isaan expert in that...field ( no pun intended ????

Something that was done late last year was interviews with Ubon Residents. While it isn't exactly what you are looking for, it might be of interest for you ( There are videos being uploaded weekly. So check back again if you found it helpful )

Interesting topic. I just got a few samples of Beyond Meats for my restaurant and tried it a few days ago.
The "burger" patty was nothing like I had hoped for. It was actually so bad that I am seriously thinking I got a spoiled sample or something went wrong during production. I actually had high hopes for this one. I will actually request a new sample because I just can't believe this product made it to mass-production.
Then I tried their Sausage substitute ( Beyond Sausage ). Now this one met my expectations. It tasted like a sausage. You'd need to be really picky to not like this as a sausage substitute. If a restaurant doesnt have Coca Cola, a Pepsi will do just as well for me. If a restaurant doesnt have Pepsi, a Coca Cola will be fine. I think similar with the beyond sausage compared to a real sausage. You could possibly taste the difference...but very very minor.
I also got a vegan 'mozzarella cheese' sample. This one tasted nothing like Mozzarella. My taste buds instantly said "parmesan cheese". Unfortunately this version has a strange after taste.
I had a ground meat substitute as well that was supposed to resemble ground pork. And it did ok. Not great, but passable. Make "meat"balls out of them and serve them with spaghetti and marinara sauce, I doubt you could taste the difference.
Little disclaimer before the manly meat-eaters tare this post apart.
I am NOT a vegetarian, nor am I a vegan. I also believe it is important to eat meat in your diet. However, I feel we ( at least myself ) eat too much meat. There is not a single day I go without some sort of meat with my meal. Salami on bread. Ham on the pizza, chicken with rice etc.....because I just enjoy it too much to give it up.
So i would welcome a product that can fool me into thinking I am eating meat. So instead of 7 days per week with meat, I can maaaaybe do 1 or 2 "meatless" days.
Also I have met vegetarians and Vegans that don't do it for their diet, but rather they disagree how animals are being treated. I wish I had their will power.

Yupp, I think this could do well if you can figure out a way to make it unique or too difficult to copy.
-
I didnt go over the numbers, but just a gut feeling that this business model is profitable if at the right location and some business / marketing sense.
However, the only problem I see ( and it is a very big problem ), the concept can be easily copied. So if you put in the work and time to make it successful, it will be quickly copied.

Ubonsquare is actually dying...or already dead.
About 5 years ago, I thought about opening something there...at that time the area was filling up and looked promising.
Unfortunately, they all went belly up and now it's deserted, and unlikely to come back.
I have to partially disagree on this statement. Yes, it was up and coming and yes it did die down, but it seems to be making a slow comeback. They drastically reduced the rent there and shops are opening up again. However, I am not sure if the rent reduction was / is an introductory offer for the first 3 months or first year or a "permanent" reduction.

Hi. to help with your answers, keep in mind ( as you are probably aware ) this is Ubon and things you are used to from BKK will be a bit different or not as...posh...as in Bkk.
1. There is essentially only one real co-working space here in Ubon that I am aware of: Joint Space.
https://www.facebook.com/Jointspace.ubu/There are some nice cafes to get work done besides starbucks, but not too many.
2. There is no real business district here either, however it seems Ubonsquare ( thats where McDonalds and Big C is ) is slowly growing that area. They have many new empty office spaces, that seem to be slowly filling up. So that could potentially be a "business district".
3. Check out www.ubonhomes.com
He is the only foreign realtor here in Ubon and keeps his website up to date. Obviously being a realtor he will also be a wealth of information regarding housing.
As you probably know we had some major flooding here 2 months ago, so keep an eye on where the water levels were during the flooding. Example the Central Plaza area may not be such a good idea because the roads were mostly flooded / closed.
Hope that helped a little.

hmmm, either I am completely misunderstanding the issue or....I don't know. Because the answer is very very simple. I have line installed and working on my phone, ipad and macbook and syncs just fine.
1. Register your line account with an E-Mail and pasword ( I assume you need to verify the email too? It's been years since I did it )
2. Download the line app to whichever device you want to use it and use your login info. done.
P.S.: While the QR code function does the job too, I wouldnt do it or at least not a long term solution. It will be annoying to use the qr code regularly to log-in and if you lose your phone your account info isn't recoverable as far as i know.

Another idea / option would be ( since you plan on exiting thailand anyways and legally married )....
Head to savannakhet, get a single entry ( 3 months ) or multiple entry ( 12 months ) O-Visa based on marriage and then take care of the extension when that visa is about to expire.Getting the Marriage Visa in Savannekhet is very easy and many threads about it what documents are needed ( being legally married you basically have all required documents already ???? )

I just renewed my 5 year car and 2 year bike license in Ubon 2 days ago. Seems like requirements changed slightly since last update here ( or a different staff working that day ???? )
I handed in for both license renewals:
2 x Passport Main Page copies
2x Visa Page copies
2x Entry Stamp copies
2x Work Permit copies ( Main page and latest stamp page )
2x Yellow Book
1x Car Drivers license copy
1x Motorbike Drivers license copy
She took everything. Returned the copies of my drivers licenses and told me to get a medical certificate. She said 1 medical certificate is enough. Got the certificate ( I think I paid 60 Baht for it...or 80? ). Returned, went to the first floor with the documents, handed them in and was told to return at 13:00. That is their testing / lecturing time.
I returned at 13:00, had to take a color blind test, listened to a lecture in Thai for about 30 minutes ( make sure your mobile phone battery is fully charged....you may be bored out of your mind ). Paid the license fees ( 855 Baht for both ). Had picture taken and got both my licenses within a few minutes. Done.
Edit:
I went to the same DLT as Isan Farang located here: 15.279968, 104.861503

I dont want to be the guy to bring it up or ask, but I think this may be relevant for your case.....do you have a VALID work permit?
I remember reading somewhere that foreigners cant get a teaching work permit after 60 years of age. Without a work permit you cannot be registered with Social Security.

Yupp, saw that a few weeks ago too. Idea is great. Having it in Ubon is great. I just dont understand why they didnt include a couple of regular household chargers / plugs as well. Electric bikes are coming to ubon and will need a regular household plug to charge.

Funniest thing I have seen in a long time here ?
I was thinking...if I were stuck in a cave for lets say 2-3 weeks and got out yesterday and I would've been updated on the World Cup, THIS would've been my reaction too ?

A couple posts above yours "just bob" posted a couple of FB names / shops that have aftermarket accessories. The facebook page also shows their website.
https://www.likitracingshop.com/
I saw they had hooks for the aerox, which I will order. There are a few things on their I dont know what they are and will have to find out the coming days before I order the hook.
You can also buy / order hooks and other accessories here.
I ordered a stock hook at Yamaha when I bought the bike. It was installed, but it actually is no use for me. If I want to hang something, the gas tank is in the way and the bag hangs to left or right and is in the way of my feet. Just not very practical. And using it as a cup holder is even worse.
I am still trying to figure out a better way of installing a cup holder / bag holder. I am thinking of ordering metal side bars and having hooks added on to the side bars. But I am afraid that makes my bike unnecessary wide to get through traffic.

They finally opened it? I'll be crossing it the coming days...looking forward to seeing construction at its finest ????
The new building / Food Court on Chaengsanit called Y-Square will open March 2nd ( KFC is already open there ).
Maybe you know @Michael Hare, I heard the mall they were building where the old Robinson was, was stopped and they built Y-Square instead. Do you have any knowledge on the progress of the old robinson area?
