Never buy anything used in Thailand. Likely never serviced or looked after (and that includes vehicles).
You can always check the service history.

I think it's a great car for Thailand. Discreet and fun and reasonably priced. I'm looking at getting a GLC 43 as a normal use car. My daily driver is a Z4 M40 like Pedro's but not really the most practical. Roads are just fine, I drive all over the country regularly.
Don't really understand the hate here.

I love that pool so much! Hope it’s not over-chemmed.
Wasn't too bad. But then again I was just hanging out in it and not swimming, really.

At Sheraton Grande right now and the pool is open as usual.

Easily is a relative term when it comes to Thai bank account when they can block any "suspicious" transfer for no reason. Many countries classify these exchanges as gambling sites.
What I do:
Opened account with Canadian exchange. When I'm ready to withdraw I transfer to Coinbase (non pro edition). Coinbase allows PayPal for withdrawals. I have 2 PayPal accounts, one Canadian and one Thai. When money is deposited it comes from Paypal, not exchange.
You can never be paranoid enough as you can see.
Love it! Thank you for this. I had no idea of Coinbase's link to PayPal. That is fantastic! Thanks again.

I've been waiting a month now for my Bitkub verification and have heard nothing from them except for an email saying "Welcome to Bitkub", then at the bottom, please send your passport photo and selfi (which I'd just sent). My wife waited ages and then after weeks of phoning them, she failed the verification. I've read about these verification problems from lots of people, seems to be a thing with Bitkub. You're one of the few successes IMO.
I've been with Coins.co.th for quite a while now, but am confined to Bitcoin. They don't do alts. You also can't place limit orders, it's purely instant buy/sell. Good exchange for beginners.
You can set up an account on Binance or whatever and transfer USDT or whatever to that for buying whatever alts you want. For limit purchases or trading, I prefer 3commas hooked up to one of my supported accounts.

I don't understand why you people just don't open the account on zillion other exchanges available? Why does it have to be Thai?
So that you can easily transfer funds in and out of a Thai bank account without the hassle and legal issues of using localbitcoins or similar.

If you're in Bkk and do wish to get a Bitkub account, take your passport and bankbook to their office. Took about 10 minutes when I did it early this year. I, too, couldn't get verified online.

And the power will be produced using coal powered power stations. that's about all Thailand has. !!!!
Coal fired is about 20%, 60+% natural gas and the bulk of the rest is hydro including imports from Laos.

Right now, they're pretty much only in the big cities and not plentiful there either. Being that I travel a fair amount within the country, I decided against a PHEV at this point even though there as some real nice ones around. Perhaps the replacement in a couple of years...

Bangkok hospital pattaya. I was there today for second pfizer, but the great majority were first timers and rather no pfizer for them left (out of 4 options). They are still registering, but with limited capacity
May I ask how long after the first shot you got your second? I'm due to get my first Pfizer from them on the 21st. I truly hope they have some left!

I import watches for my own use quite frequently. Total expenses payable locally come to about 13% on the average.

My part of Isaan has been getting decent rain late last night and all morning. Got some rain the last couple of days as well. Not been a great rainy season so far that's for sure.

Centennial Seeds out of Colorado is the original source for BaOx. High CBD, low THC. I don't know if they export and I don't know if Thailand allows import of hemp seeds.

Best B, apologies. You seem to be right according to @Misty's post above. Sorry and congratulations.

Medpark told me by phone yesterday that the Expatvac system has been rolled into Intervac, and they have been instructed to start taking foreigners under age 60 who registed under Expatvac in early Aug, whether or not they have qualifying conditions. I'm not sure how much under age 60, however.
Awesome! Thanks for that info.

Then why mention your age? You could have stated in a single line that you think foreigners are getting vaccinated because the vaccines might expire. Simple, succinct, no? Congratulation, in any case.

Irrelevant, no one asks for any doctors reports or even what your condition is and I did mention my age , it helps to read and think before posting .
in addition , it helps to understand post is not about how under 60 gets vaccine
Deleted. Don't want to argue pointlessly.

can not, because they take it as you are leaving
Well i am under 60 ????
did not even have to beg or ask, they just made an offer which one i wanted
And do not get me wrong i am happy, and expiry next month does not bother me, but makes sense why its so freely available.
Presumably you have one of the qualifying underlying conditions then. Would have been helpful if you posted that in the OP rather thank confusing the issue by mentioning you're under 60.
Of course this is an assumption on my part. Apologies in advance if indeed you have no qualifying conditions.

My only experience with Mercedes these last few years is this. Dead reliable if somewhat uncomfortable! But hey at least it's a convertible...
