  1. As a small percentage of your diversified holdings, fine. Why not get an offshore bank account in Singapore? Citibank is a tad onerous; OCBC is both easier and has lower balance requirements.

As for your question, there used to exist a P2P marketplace, localbitcoins, but they are no longer in business. There might be substitutes.

Yes, the other 3 cases of the "Major Anti Crime Operation" will make me sleep soundly tonight knowing that these highly dangerous criminals are off the streets:-

    3. 5 Koreans operating an illegal tour company (specifically for Koreans) without work permits.

    4. A Chinese overstayer.

    5. 17 Vietnamese operating an illegal gambling website.

No wonder they don't have the time or resources to catch/apprehend the "real" criminals (e.g. major drug or people traffickers, police killers, etc etc.

No doubt about it. But we all know how that goes.

This might be an old thread but I just would like to add this.

On their claim process form it says: When you contact any hospital please mention ASSIST INTERNATIONAL SERVICES

On the website of https://www.bumrungrad.com/en/insurance you can find MEDICAL ASSISTANCE COMPANY DIRECT BILLING CONTRACT which lists this company.

Thank you for that. That clarifies things.

So, would you call yourself a criminal, if, say, by accident you overstayed for 3 days in Thailand?

What difference does it make what I would call myself?

By definition: Crime- an action or omission that constitutes an offense that may be prosecuted by the state and is punishable by law.

Criminal- a person who has committed a crime.

So, now you're assuming that the OP is talking about people who've overstayed by three days?

In my view, self-administering an intramuscular injection for the treatment of an asthma attack appears to be too risky. However, with a prescription, I firmly believe that you can obtain one from various wholesale pharmacies located near major hospitals such as Siriraj Hospital or Rajavithi Hospital.

Thank you, I'll give that a shot. Unfortunately, self administration is the only choice when you're a week away from the road head.

Shincort is made by Y.S.P. INDUSTRIES (M) SDN BHD - a Malaysian company.  According to MIMS it's not available to Thailand.

Thaicort is made in Thailand.  However, it's an FDA category S (Special Controlled Drug) with a prescription required.  In practice this means you'll have to get it from a hospital after a medical consultation.

    Thank you! Great to know.

I recall getting a shot of triamcinolone - to treat a 'rotator cuff' problem in my shoulder - at Phaya-Thai 2 hospital in Bkk a few years ago.....if that's of any help.

Thank you, yes, the hospitals do administer them but I really don't want to take one preemptively.

  8. Greetings all. Any idea where I might be able to get Triamcinolone IM injectable in Bangkok? I tried SouthEast Pharmacy but they don't have it. I'd appreciate any hints as to which particular pharmacies I should try.

According to Mims, both Thainocort and Shincort are made in Thailand. I normally travel with a couple of these when I go to the back of beyond for a few months for work. Work is very dusty and my usual asthma meds stop working very efficiently. I do have a prescription from home for what it's worth, just that my stock of Kenacort is exhausted.

    Thanks.

Don't disagree - sorry for those that lost.  NFTs are dangerous and I'd never invest personally - there is a case for regulation of some sort.

I think you don't understand the concept of securitized NFTs. They are essentially the equivalent of holding a share of a business. Risk is dependent on the project and developer underlying the NFT, not the asset class. Essentially similar to some of the utility tokens where risk is concerned; with the one you depend on price appreciation and with the other you get a part of the profits.

Yah I mean, thats the thing, isnt it - the chances of needing a repair are quite slim. I guess its just the notion of spending 31K and winding up with a glitchy problem, a few months down the line. Its never happened to me with any phone, ever. Sods law would dictate it happening in this instance though, lol.

Hmm. I am in two minds now. I did drop my last samsung and had to replace the screen, cant remember how much it cost, about 3K I think. But if that happend with the Pixel it would probaby mean importing a screen from Europe, then finding a guy to fit it, then sending it to Back from Isarn.

Sod it. I appreciate the heads up but I might swerve it, now i think about it. Ill just go for a Samsung again, safer bet I guess.

Hell of a phone though. Personaly I think it edges the S23 Ultra, its that good.

    Cheers!

Absolutely. That is the risk. I wanted to have the battery on my old 2XL replaced but gave up due to the hassle.

No doubt, superior to pretty much everything out there for my use. My current travel phone is a Samsung S23, the basic one, and it is just fine but I miss the relative purity of Pixel OS and the Assistant  whenever I'm forced to use it.
