Why end of the year? So that the parasites can fill up their coffers before calling it a day? And seriously, what reform? Cadet pays to get into the force, pays to buy his own sidearm, pays to get promoted... corruption is at the core and the backbone of the Thai police
farceforce and an insult to anyone's intelligence. Unless the whole corrupt practice changes, any reform is but just another farce. -
Like a boy from a farmland province seeing the city for the very first time. And it's not even Bangkok yet!!!

That must be the standard line... "Elections in one year's time." Just repeat it every time the question of when elections will be held is asked. Regardless of when it is asked. It will still be relevant in 2017 I guess.

For sure!!! I am certain Thailand has very high aviation safety standards! It's only the ghosts, spirits and things that go bump at night that are conspiring against Thailand's 'high standards'.

What a load of stinking $h1te.
On a separate note, I am at awe with the geniuses at Malaysia's National Heart Institue for their ability to repeatedly patch this ancient relic up so well, he's still at it (spewing bull$hite) despite already having a place reserved for him at some museum of unnatural history.

Maybe the low spending this year IS due to concern about economic uncertainty, but I believe it is also because consumers are wising up to the stupidity of paying THB100 for ONE stalk of rose, as opposed to what... THB20 on 'normal' days? And the restaurants only serve mass-cooked set menus, nothing from the ala carte section, as they aim to cash in on the queue of sheep waiting to be slaufghtered.

Next they should try Sukhumvit 11. Another area infested with these morons.
On a separate note, it's not easy to 'take a video as evidence'... some of these morons carry weapons (and I mean some more damaging than a stick) and have no qualms about using it.
Last week i stayed with my suitcase in front from my Hotel at the End of Sukhumvit Soi 11 at 10 am. Destination: Don Muang Airport. The connection from the Soi 11 over Soi 3 to the highway is actually unproblematic at 10 am; No rush hour.I ask all about meter and that i will pay the highway toll.In 5 minutes I stopped 6 taxis and no one wants to drive me.3 said no,others offered no meter 500Baht, 600Baht and 600 Baht.It was not until the seventh taxi then took me for the regular fare.I gave the driver a good tip, he helped me also with my suitcase.I guess the police could easily find 100 taxi drivers per hour in the Sukhumvit 11,who no wants to drive or only drive with no meter.
Another taxi driver told me that in Soi 11 is to much Taxi Mafia. The taxis permanent standing in front of the hotels, should be avoided. It looks like that from the outside coming taxis are only allowed to deliver their passengers at the hotels, but they can not take direct other hotel guests for the next trip.
Many honestly taxi drivers are afraid about problems with this thugs!
Ruled by taxi mafia eh... now that makes sense. Explains why the taxi morons are worse on that soi than other places I've been to. If I have to go to that blasted soi, I'll just walk to the Nana BTS station. Of course, that would be hard for you to do with your suitcase and all
The thing is, I refuse to believe the Parasites in Brown or the authorities don't know about this. So why don't they perform this sting-op in Suk 11? I guess we all know the answer to that one huh. And if nothing continues to be done about this, then this sting-op is just a headline event and everything will be same old, same old. And, as an answer to another discussion about if things have improved, I say "same $h1te, different crapper".

Do these 'high position' people know what they're talking about?
"... Universal Studios in Singapore because of the water. Once there's water in Southeast Asia, these investors will come to Thailand..."
Isn't Singapore a part of Southeast Asia?

Today: ''The area damaged was where documents of approved loan contracts were placed.''
On Sunday: ''SCB chief executive officer Vichit Surapongchai said the 10th floor was used to store copying machines not documents or computers.''
Does that surprise you? TiT... hehehe

Oh??? I thought the Brown Parasites already wrapped this up? Guess they actually haven't got a <deleted> clue huh.

Looking at the photo and caption, is it normal for the police to take a large contingent of reporters and cameramen with them on a patrol?
Where's the hand wash, this farang touched me.
I'd say the 'farang' has a bigger need for handwash, if I'm honest.

Hmm... what about those responsible for Red-Shirt crackdowns? Or the people responsible for closing down the airport? For the record, I don't belong to any coloured-shirt camps. They both have their agendas and points, and can be equally daft too.

Childish and immatured. And I'm not talking about the Thammasat or Chula students. 'Trying to save democracy' my ar$e.

What stupid idiots come up with such stupid polls? 70 percent of 1,120 people represent 'MOST THAIS'???
As for the 'situation' improving in Thailand, it depends, in my opinion. If one is talking about the coloured groups (both sides!) setting up mass demonstrations, erecting stages in the middle of the city and basically disrupting lives, not to mention the constant violence by rival parties, then I have to agree the 'situation' has improved.
But if one is referring to general living situations, then I'd say no - in fact, I see the situation worsening. The society seems to be even more xenophobic and intolerant. The Parasites in Brown are blatantly practising gangsterism - in broad daylight. The rift the current government is trying to bridge is actually growing wider, it seems.
Of course this is anecdotal, in my own opinion and not based on any stupid research but my own personal experiences.

Hmm... so how does it feel when the boot is on the other foot?

Finally they found a room...

No need to worry about anything. TiT. Period.

Parasites-in-Brown hit another low.

hope other countries start charging Thais 10 fold when visiting their countries, would bring a smile to my face.
Believe me, if I ever do business with a Thai in the US, I am definitely going to tell him, "Sorry, you don't get the US price, you're Thai, you need to pay 10X more than Americans." If more people did this, maybe Thailand would smarten up. Then again...I don't think so.
No. They'll just rant and rave and yell that they're being singled out for unfair treatment; they'll accuse you of racism, of practicing double-standards; that you are xenophobic... blah blah blah... Fact of the matter is, you can't teach kids, or moronic idiots of similar levels of intellect, these sort of things. This lot believes it is ok for them to do unto others even things they don't wish others do unto them. But I agree with you and like you, I will do the same. Even post up a sign to say Thais pay double the price. Send them scurrying back to their somtum caves.

Welcome to Thailand. This is true Thainess. In addition to the fake 'wai' and empty smiles. Behind that thin facade, a shark awaits to rip your arms and legs off. Consider yourself lucky if you leave the LOS upright and breathing. What a load of <deleted>.

I posted a video in another thread, showing a Chinese adult in Suvarnabhumi changing his shirt AND PANTS in the middle of a corridor (where all the restaurants and shops are) that connects all the gates. The incident happened just last month. I'm really curious why airport security didn't jump on that man and take him away. I am really at a loss for words to describe these morons.

Not sure about ghosts and things that go bump at night, but the smiles are somewhat on a continued decline, that's for sure.

Thai Officials Urge Young Couples to Avoid Sex on Valentine’s Day
in Thailand News

Visiting the temple on Valentine's Day? I'm a Buddhist and still I find that a really dumb suggestion. Get a life, you numbnuts. Just because you didn't get it when you were a teen doesn't mean you can go around spoiling other people's fun. The rise in teen pregnancy and HIV infection can be stemmed with education. Proper education! Simply issuing orders to not do this or do that won't work. Get a life.
