^^ Good point, Goompa, so maybe folk should also think about posting to Shaggy's Farming photos over in the Farming forum.
Absolutely . If the percentage of the image lends itself to be considered a farm orientated image , by all means .
I was merely making an observation to the fact that most of rural Thailand is dotted with farms and rice paddies ,
this is not to say that there are not opportunities to take and create a Landscape image of rural Thailand ,not in this
element .
I feel as though everything rural about Thailand does have a " Farm" element , even the waterways have this .
Please don't shoot the messenger , it is just my personal observation .
Everything about Thailand is unique and mystifying , and the images sublime , if we could only capture them as
we feel them in our heart would be Truly Amazing .

Rural Landscapes ; I am sure that 90% will have a farming element to them , given the local environment .

Are ya retinas bleedin' yet ?
yeah ,poor attempt at humour again

Nice image Win , but I am sure that all corresponding photos have to be Thailand orientated ?
Shame I cannot give too many , if any contributions atm.

Thanks FR , so in reality it does ,( the lens ) perform similar to a macro lens . I really like the IQ that the lens gives , maybe I will save some coin , nice work btw .
-
FR , can you alter the f stop to increase the dof on the 40-150 , it seems very tight at full length , would it change the dof if you were to set the camera to say f11 ?

Macro Photography cliché 101
When we acquire our first macro lens we get excited about this " New World " and start to find everything fascinating , then we need a tripod !
7 Baht will get you noodles at a 7-11 store , or get you a nice image
This image was taken with a reverse adaptor , a few $ available on the web , but you have to shoot in manual mode only ,
a tripod is essential for a good shot.

If I could sum it up in one word it would be " Disturbing " but that is not to say I don't like it , I have been contemplating ...
A little too long actually , so I kind of figure it hits something , a nerve ,well maybe , but I figure this is up to the experts ...
In the meantime my beer is going warm
